I think it would be more appropriate if hymns were sung by the St Patrick's Cathedral Choir!

Tina would be way to raunchy for Creed's wholesome christian values!!!

Creed = Naughties version of '80's rock band Stryper...but without the comedy value!!!!!

So cos they sing about that sort of stuff that makes them ****??

I really don't get what you are trying to say, I understand if the songs don't mean anything to you or if you don't even like them, but cos they are Christians does that make them a bad band??

Maybe if they swore every second word like some of the bands I'm sure you are into

Who gives a **** what they say, it still sounds good.

I agree. Radiohead have got to tone down their "East Coast Hip Hop Gangsta Lyrics"!!! Beeyatch!

I don't care that they are christian. Good luck to 'em! Hell, every man, woman and child thanked God on the Yank Music awards last night, so what do I care!

If you can't see why they are bad, then give it time. You will grow up and begin listening to more mature music. Hell, I listened to Bon Jovi when I was much younger, so we all make mistakes! You will look back on Creed's music and squirm in 5 years time. It will amuse you.

Hitters...lets roll!!!

As they amuse us now!:D

I hated Pearl Jam the first time they came around, what makes people think we need another watered down 'Xian' version of them.

Christian values is interesting...

Funniest story I heard about Creed. I think this is pretty much how it went.

Scott Stapp the vocalist was in a club, and someone came up to him and told him "I prefered you better when you were in Pearl Jam". Stapp heard this & proceeded to punch the guy out.

Very wholesome Christian values right there.

With arms wide open indeed.....!

The problem with Creed for me, is that the vocal phrasing is way too monotonose & boy do they steal ideas...my sacrifice has ripped Led Zep's Kashmir off ridiculously & I could pinpoint many melodies from other songs throughout the album.....

The only interest for me would be to see if they can replicate their guitar sound live....he's got a hell of a rhythm tone that's for sure.

For a while there it appeared that Pearl Jam were going to go on a tour of America with Creed. It was on the Pearl Jam Synergy site and was mentioned on Triple M

I'd love to go the creed concert, but don't know any other big creed fans. I can't believe you guys are bagging creed just cause they don't worship the devil doesn't mean they are not a good rock band.

In the words of Manny the Hippie formerly of the Dave Letterman Show "Diggity Dank"!!!

BTW their Christian ties doesn't phase me, their irritating "run your fingers down a chalkboard, can we think of another cliched chorus" style of "music" gives me the f*cken sh*ts!!!

All this and a band like Radiohead have albums like The Bends, OK Computer and Kid A out there and you chose this sh*te. It really is very sad. :(

I couldn't care less if they're god botherers, their music is still crap.
You want good christian music, check out the bands on the 'Tooth and Nail' record label.

If Sevendust are the support act (they should be the bloody main act) then i will go just to see them, then leave before Creed come on. I really rate Sevendust....one of the most underrated bands in the world. Their debut cd is one of the best cds of the 90s in my view...and Home was a ripper as well...Animosity is ok...im still getting used to the different sorta style tho.

I just looked on their website and they have no Australian tour dates up as of yet....but their official sites tour dates only go to the end of Feburary.

As for Creed....i think they suck. Typical Post Grunge band. Scott Stapp just wants to be Eddie Vedder. He looks teh same, acts the same, and he trys to sound the same...pity he failed miserably. Cliche ridden music.
People around here know im a Christian so its got nothing to do with that...i just think they suck

Ticketek has announced ticket prices for Creed at around $85 for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

I don't mind Creed as far as FM-radio fodder goes, but how can anyone justify $85 a ticket on the basis of only three hit singles?

How good are the ALMIGHTY Sevendust going if they're support act to a bunch of ****ers???

And you're right Sevendust should be the main act. That way the 6 people that like them can get right up and close to their favourite rockers, while the other 15 000 there to see Creed sit back wondering who Sevendust are? Oh, but I forgot being hugely succesful and selling millions upon millions of albums means youre bad doesn't it.

And how can people say Scott Stapp acts like Eddie Vedder? When has Eddie Vedder gone on about Christianity? How many times has Eddie Vedder gone to an awards ceremony? Sure, Stapp sounds the same, but last time I checked people were born with there voice? And if you think they look similar you're off you're nut. They've both got long dark hair, along with millions of other people

Creed aren't Pearl Jam, but they're still one of the best bands in the world

Got my ticket on Friday. Going mostly for Sevendust, they f*cken rock. There last album Animosity was sensational, Home was a killer as well, and the song Black off there first album made it a great debut album. Even though they'll probably play for only 40-45 minutes it should go off and i dont mind Creed either.

Ill probably get my ticket when im in melbourne this week...ive been waiting for Sevendust to make their way here for about 2 1/2 years now so it will be well worth the $85 to see a support band :D
