Whats the go with him, is he finished, washed up, over weight and out of time like rumoured, or is there signs in the VFL he may return to his 2004 form with Collingwood??

Maybe if some people actually got some facts before commenting it would be nice. Has had a calf, hamstring and ankle injuries so far this year so hasnt been able to play. He isnt over weight now. The jury is still out but one could at least wait until he gets a chance to play some footy.

People seem to be quick to jump on the medical staff when any side gets a run of injuries. Sometimes it just happens and there isnt a lot you can do about it.

im not jumping on any gun.. im just saying we have had our fare share of soft tissue injuries.. and im just thinking is it bad luck, telstra dome, medical staff or a collection of all three + more, or are the players silly and dont really stretch

The medicos have been there too long - Doc Reid etc.

I would have thought experience would have been a good thing to have in a doctor.

When I saw Cole in his last VFL match (lasted 5 mins) I genuinely thought "He's not fat at all. He actually looks reasonably fit!"

But the way they had to gingerly carry him off, with a man supporting him under each arm, it didn't look like your garden variety hamstring...
