This is directed at the sydney fans who are posting threads that can be taken as "arrogant" on the main board, (only a few)

Paul Roos has only said three words in the past four years (God, it's nearly four years since he took the job already!) with any sincerity. Everything else has been spin and subterfuge. But what a fine choice of words they were.

Ok. My future posts will attempt to distract opposition posters. Whilst they're complaining about what I said I'll do, I'll go ahead and do the other thing. Hopefully it will work as well as it does for Roos.

okay I'll keep doing what I always do. talk highly of the red and white where required (I always do anyway) and I'll still remain neutral most team except collingwood as I always did.:p

You are probably referring to me as one of the arrogant ones. I think I mentioned the word in a post.
I have been watching the Swans since 1958. I have seen us flogged unmerciously by the likes of Carlton and Essendon too many times that I dare to remember.
I make no excuses for the pleasure I get from our team today and the confidence in them I like to exude right now. If I am smug about how good we are and that comes across as arrogant, then stiff cheese.
I have been spat on, abused and threatened by supporters of those clubs wallowing at the bottom of the ladder. I can't see how waxing lyrical about our club is arrogant. If you are frightened at putting your head up for fear of getting it knocked off, and being labelled as a poor supporter, then I feel sorry for you.
AFL supporters are AFL supporters, cant see how we have a precious reputation of being nice supporters, and I dont know where you get that idea from. So a couple of "arrogant" supporters puts the moz on us,eh. Stop sipping the Chards darling.

fair enough, my mum has followed them her whole life too and i've seen the pain she's gone through.
