what are your thoughts on the bfl vs rdfl match next wednesday at northern oval. who are the players to watch or will it just be a 1 sided affair where the rdfl dont stand a chance

i have no idea about BFL, but i know that the key players for RDFL will be hede, wright, jooba, stacey, robertson, cam dawson....these players are very good and would expect from there own high standards to perform at there best against BFL, hopefull the game will be competitive... wat are your thoughts pup?

i dont think the riddel league has much of a shot with players like kingy,jezza,dylan running around and that just the start of it the depth of the side is amazing and it should be and will be a massive blow out the riddel league is a minor league compared to the ballarat league

Rdfl will give it a good shake i believe but the players in the ballarat league seem to have a little more strength and quickness as the ballarat league is a stronger league(nothing against the riddell league) and this will show through throughout the match.

hey vantheman i honostly dont think u have a chance against the ballarat league. i was in ur rooms on wednesday night i was in a ballarat jacket with a blonde stripe through my hair. i also have been informed that u are travis hede. u played me in a grand final 2 years ago dylan's the name. do u remember who i am mate... chayse's cousin..well anyway i believe the bfl will be too strong for the rdfl by a lengthy margin hope use dont drop ur bundle tho and its a training drill after all its only a f**k around match so just have a crack ok

it means when we start pumping ur arses on wednesday night dont just stand there and watch the major league kill the minor league try and make a game of it. yeh u beat me in a grand final...and u got best on ground...ur were a gun footballer trav but now u seem to be a pasenger playing senior rdfl wich is the worst football league in the state nearlly...you could of gone places instead ur playing for kilmore so i think losing the grand final was a small price to pay compared to where we both are now mate....wb

Both can easily get a kick, actually looking forward to watching the matchup if they both play rover on the weekend... Will be a nice little matchup indeed.. Trav is in excellent form and dominated against the WRFL and Dylan is an exciting young player, so hope they play on each other.. :thumbsu:

Its not a good match up cause the riddel league is a minor league compared to the ballarat league and dylan dominated that kick 8 on the weekedn and and will play seniors this week, trav is a good player as well have played him but dylan would smash him in all part of the game

Comon boys lets be seriouse, the BFL are a much stronger league and this should show through in the match, nothen against the RDFL, but BFL under 18's are there to play footy and this should be apparent in the match.

To be seriouse the bfl will win easy, my personal opinion the RDFL side does not contain the best players in the league, however if it did i would say RDFL have a chance, but to be honest the RDFL doesnt contain all inform players, there are some passengers.

That is a big call mate , considering we are the best country football team in vic well thats what it says on our medals ey boys.
Dont get ahead of yourselfs as its only a praccy match. but we do have a fair few tops players in our side who regulary play senior football at there local clubs and thats a big achievment at 16 17 years of age.
Lets face it RDFL isnt as strong as BFL amd never will be.

how funny is this trav all these morons trying to stick up for each of us cause they want there 2 bob in....dont try and threaten me and trav by saying if we dont play the best game of our lives we will get a pasting i made this forum for me and trav do catch up and discuss and u guys just took over.... 1 game doesnt make a footballer....10 years and more does...trav and i know we can play and are comfortable telling each other u fools....travis hede is an awesome footballer who should stop trying to play for fun and go places cause he can.... whether i can or not is another story i am pretty small and after all footy is getting to be a tall sport these days right?? well i have to go so ill leave it at that just dont judge me and trav by wednesday night 1 game doesnt make a footballer does it?

Well, obviously I would be a lot closer to a new job than you... Both players can talk up what they like, they are 18 year old's for god sake, the whole lot of them are cocky, that's what makes it an interesting read, and interesting enough for you to take your time to write back and try to find out a result to the game... I think they call it "Creating Interest", not a bad little ploy it would seem...:thumbsu:

Pup you are young and obviously very dumb! You have tried to backpeddle on your earlier comments where you did nothing more than make a fool of yourself and your family. The majority of posts since you and Hede went toe-to-toe indicate most people think so. Having 1 or 2 mates (eg. Thats Special) come on and defend you and suggest it was a ploy to 'create interest' does not enhance your credibility whatsoever.

Dont write the RDFL off that easily.. Ballarat should win, they have a much better spread off talent, but there is some very good young players in the RDFL side, and these kids just will not back down...
Looking forward to a hard fought match in which Ballarat should win by 5 goals...

Boyz - I have no doubt that the BFL Boys rate themselves, but you just need to look at their side to realise that they are setting themselves up for a fall. Half their side is made up of ex-RDJFL Juniors who struggled to have an impact in the RDJFL (and in some cases the RDFL) - but suddenly because they play in the BFL "Major League" they consider themseles superstars !
I have heard that their Coaching staff is that cocky they have not even bothered to have a training session, and are still slapping each others backs after their "title" ! ****e - those were only 1/2 games and cout for squat. Rumour has it they played with a plastic footy !
Rest assured, the RDFL is going up to Ballarat to burst their bubbles and their big heads, and hopefully also put a dent in their massive ego's ! GO RDFL !!!

dylan wright and kegan powell look to be players don't they, wright probably kicked 4 or 5 yesterday and setup countless others with kegan racking up 20 odd touches and 10 clearances, in the sunbury seniors smashing of sebastapol. I suspect this two players alone will be to strong for the riddel district

Dylan played pretty well actually, roved the forward line beautifully.. Will have it a bit tougher on Wednesday though...

Dylan Wright actually did play ok yesterday, but failed to capitalise on his chances around goal. He is only in the side because he is a goal sneak...i guess he better learn how to kick goals.

(the sharpe man) u r obviously a confused and scared little boy considering on the sunday the bfl won the title playing back to back games of hard footy which added up to a full game so i think the bfl with a big tall and strong midfield with players like clarence kinga ryno and innes also with dylan down forward the bfl unda18s will win easly

The BFL Coachs are a couple of self promoting tools. And their Runner is a disgraceful role model for young kids and is a bad influence to have around young people who are easily influenced.
The RDFL is more circumspect regarding our choice of Coach's and we pick people who are more appropriate role models.

the battle never really got going i think trav was excellent in the 1st 1/4 and a half but didnt do much.....and as for myself was not really near the ball much and when it came near me i thought i comfortably did my bit for the team but nothing outstanding....must of been recovering from monday when the real footy was played as i thought i had an excellent game along side mark power and the mighty lions.....to every one who participated in this forum im sorry i didnt play like a superstar bag me all u want ill take it i talk the talk and merely walked the walked in patches...(with the sealer).......thanks rdfl much better than i thought, keep going boys use are all good footballers but dont think u matched it with us we played terrible 1st half and use saw that if we played a 1st half like the second it would of been a 15 goal game but to ur credit it wasnt great game and thanks carn_the_pup23 over and out

Just like to send my best wishes to matt stacey and jay downing of woodend/hesket fc.. they were involved in an accident on the way to the match and hope this doesnt interupt the career that both of u could have stacey ur a gun ruckmen and jubes ur a prolific ball winner keep up the good work when use r fit to play it was terible when we heard the news and all the best boys

another pathetic post by yourself... dylan might not of had his best game but the fact is that every1 in BFL n RDFL know that the kid is a gun... as for myself had a **** night i fumbled in front of goal n coughed up an easy chance in front of goal... couldnt get a clearance in the 2nd half after gettin a handful in first half i f'd around with the ball 2 much 2 be honest. kicked a nice goal from 45 on the run was happy up until 3 qrt time. best players for BFL in my opinion were #19, #23, #17, #15, #5 for RDFL Robbo #11 was best on, Nippa #2, Dan Harrison #5 and then i dont know after that ill admit it was a good game but in the end the better side won. were u at the game old?

on the way to the game.... they had a car crash. they were extremely lucky and thank god because they are great people... jubes got slight whiplash and stacey got a corky in his leg... it is quite understandable that they were shaken up and were unable to play in the game... good luck to the boys country roads are shocking.. i spoke to both jubes n stacey n they said they will b right to play on the weekend which is fantastic news

ballarat side got up by 14 points over a very competetive riddle side, but riddel have to be kicking them self for having a half time lead of 31 points and letting it slip to lose the game u do the maths that a 44 point turn around pretty poor, but to say that they were hard at it at very good around goal, it was juts good to win for that far behind:thumbsu:

yeh good work to the BFL, but you have to give credit to the RDFL on that match, pretty impressive to give up such a fight against the BFL, as they did win country league championships, also boys need i say that this thread was made between carn the pup, and vantheman, so dont go knocking these boys, they are extremely talented, and nothen shud be taken away from em, catchya's
At the risk of copping a pasting on this nasty little thread, I went and had a look at the game on wednesday night as an unbiased observer - knew one kid playing for BFL. Can't believe the crap that Dylan Wright is copping, even from himself. Thought he played well, especially in 2nd half, and stood out to me as a hard at it type, very good skills, great awareness, quick enough, just lacking size. Would have had him in BFL best players along with Spratling, Abella, Innes-oozes class this guy, Ross, Neurath and #29 who was not named in the record. Neuraths tap work is sensational, BFL should have dominated out of the middle with him in there, but got towelled up in the first half. RDFL much harder at it before half time, first to the ball and their pressure on the BFL guys was great, especially up forward. Thought their better players were Robertson a stand out, Hede, Wright, Burgess, Climas and Krul (very talented players the last 2). Haven't seen an u'18 game in BFL for about 10 years and never seen one in RDFL and was surprised at how good the standard was.

Was a very good game for an under 18 game played mid week at night on a dewy surface with players having played the weekend before and in their mind knowing they are playing this weekend also. BFL team in 1st half were significantly down considering their performance in Albury the quality of the talent, however both sides acquitted themselves very well. RDFL showed they can mix it with the best. Cockroach has got it nailed, the cream did rise and the best players you named were spot on, ross is a player who has really come on I believe, big big future ahead same with Abella! Both wright and Hede gave all for their respective teams as did their team mates and that is all you can ask for.

The Sunbury 1's side is in great shape(dont know how they aren't winning), went down and had a look at new recruit corey brown last night but didnt see much as it was a short session. Serge and chook have certainly got my respect as players and coaches mate so watch your mouth! Have brought up players through the 18's and 2's successfully over the years, but unfortunantly canthepup32...you aren't involved.
