View Full Version : Why is everyone tipping Geelong?
It's 1st v 12th
A team that's only lost one game this year v A team thats only won one of its last seven games
SO WHY IS EVERYONE TIPPING GEELONG!!
The Age tipsters are 10-7 in Geelong's favor
The Herald-Sun are 11-7 in Geelong's favor
Have they not been watching us for the last few months???
Um, possibly cause Judds out, and WC play like rat s-hit down at KP, and maybe Geelong are due for a win (:o )
I dunno, i gotta do my tips in like the next hour. I think i'll just stick with us. Itd be just my luck to finally go against us and then we win!!!
SO WHY IS EVERYONE TIPPING GEELONG!!
for the same reason a bear $hits in the woods ..........because it can.

The betting had been ridiculous over the past 5-6 weeks. People must still think that Geelong are a good side... strage. LOL
I tip Geelong every week but thats only coz I know if I tip against then they are bound to win... if u get what I mean. If I wasn't a geelong supporter there is NO WAY I would be tipping Geelong this week. hahaha :p

I reckon that tipsters may be tipping the cats so they can bignote themselves if they tip the cats and we happen to win. No-one gets bagged out for tipping wrong, so why not tip the underdog.
But I bet Steven Quartermain will tip against us. (Notice how I said "Steven Quartermain" and not "Quarters"? "Quarters" is a nick-name, and nick-names are for friends, and Steven Quartermain is no friend of the Geelong supporter. Mongrel.)

In no particular order - history, no Judd, Harley back, weather.

history didn't help us last week when richmond won last week or when melbourne beat us at KP last year or when Fremantle did too. History in sport is meaningless, unless you're Holland or England and it's penalty shoot out in the World Cup... I'll be shocked if we beat the eagles tommorow, unless Nathan kicks about nine.

Just giving you the reasoning - obviously not necessarily right :p

If the weather is bad, then why are u bringing in more talls than u are dropping against a quick eagles side?

Huh ?
We've dropped 2 talls and replaced them with 2 talls and Harley [can play small]

probably becuase KP is a fortress....we can't be beaten there....ohhh...ummmm..on second thoughts....FOOLS!
Just like everyone in round 1 tipped Bombers to beat Swans and they duely saluted.
Eagles haven't won at Geelong since 1999. Judd is out. But I hate Geelong and we play them next week so I hope they get pumped big time.

Harley Blake Ablett in Playfair and Kingsley out. That looks a fair bit taller to me, and if the weather is a factor, wouldn't u go the other way?

I dunno, I guess it's just to spite the Eagles ;)
I tipped us too, mainly because I really hate tipping against us, and also just because the changes made and the loss of Judd could well be big factors that will play into our hands.
I bloody well hope so anyway.

I reckon the Cats are a good chance. The Eagles don't seem to finish off team's because of their inaccurate kicking at goal and they don't flood back into defence so there are possiblities of scoring cheap goal's.
Also I hear it's going to be a wet windy day in Geelong and that's always a great leveler.

It's not windy at the moment. It rained over night and there's light rain right now.
