since he left our midfield is no where near as hard at it or as tight.
Man I am sad tonight but if any team is goign to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory it is the Cats, seen it too many times.

This is absolutely true, and i've been thinking about this for a long long time. he left because of family reasons apparently though?
we were awesome for a while when he was around, just gone now :(

I don't care what it costs, what you have to do to convince his wife to move back down here, but just please get him back to the club.

I have been thinking the same, never rated andy lovell as a player. -is this his first gig in coaching? I have to admit i was excited that barry stoneham was appointed specialist fowards coach, but our fowards are starting to play like barry did in his final years at geelong. As for being our runner well barry could never run...and well now he is injured pulled a calf i think a couple of weeks ago. Sweeping changes have to start at geelong at the end of the year. All coaching staff will be changed at the end of the year.
players.........safe ones: scarlett, g ablett, chapman, mooney, rooke, bartel, corey, milburn, egan, enright.
get fit and maybe you will deliver: varcoe(yes i know he hasn't played a senior game yet) ottens, harley, tenace, wojo,
please explain: josh hunt, ling, kelly (you yes you kelly, should have been traded instead of beamer) playfair, kent, king. d johnson

i have left out some of the newer guys and probably been generous on a few players. Would like to know what draft picks we could get for josh hunt and kelly. Kelly is starting to remind me of spriggs -small chip passes that get turned over. I wonder how spriggsy is going in sydney?

Give him five years to learn the caper. Then when Roosy retires he can come home and win the flags that he should have got in '96 and 2003. :)

He was fantastic. I loved the way he handled himself as a player, and his work as an assistant coach for one year at Geelong was very impressive.
I don't think he will come back though for an assistant role...

I could be wrong, but I don't think it was simply a 'don't like Geelong' thing.
