This Thread isn't an attack on our Players, but how can someone wright in the match summary on the Essendon FC Website the following, I know Adelaide a awesome side, and they don't have any clear weak points, but our effort apart from the first 5 Min's was nothing short of bl**dy disgraceful, yes we have injuries, but please don't insult the intellect of us Essendon fans with what amounts to spin doctored dribble.

"The Bombers were under constant attack and ultimately the pressure became too great. While they showed a terrific competitive spirit in the first half, the second half became a massacre. The Crows piled on 17 goals to Essendon’s two, handing out the Bombers’ biggest loss in recent times.

While the result on the scoreboard looked horrific, Essendon’s endeavour could not be questioned. On the night the team came up against an Adelaide outfit at the very top of its game, showing off some of the most impressive football seen in 2006. "
