Blake: the best game ive seen him play.

Nablett: didnt get great service. leads often ignored. did enough to hold place. took 2 good marks

Stokes: looks a player. good skills. needs to be given game time.

Thanks mate, i like Blake will be a good player. Smart player and can actually run unlike Ottens and King. Also good to see Nathan showing something all is not lost.

Blake held his own against Cox when tapping, maybe even was on top, was great to see

I'm not a "big" Nathan Ablett fan, well not as big as some people on here, but the constant refusal to kick the ball to him up the ground yesterday was astounding. He kept presenting time & time again and we chose to ignore him over & over.

I'm happy to persist with him - he's played less than 10 games (I think) he's got a good pedigree and he has a go.

Blake and Ablett were both very good

Ablett looks to have real footy smarts (I wonder where he gets it from) and really should be left at full forward on his own. If he gets better delivery then I think that he could do some real damage over the rest of the season.

The thing about Nablett is that he can crunch a pack and has a physical presence. Even if he doesn't mark the ball, it is that much harder for defenders to recover and clear. This gives a good opportunity for players such as Chapman, Gablett and SJ which they just don't get with KK.

The Nablett difference, (compared to kingsley) was when he stood, about on the 50 in the last quarter with the defender right behind him, and he took a strong contested mark above his head. I saw him leading alot, but usually so does kent, so this is what he brings to the team Kent dosn't. (lots of other stuff too, but this is the main thing.)

I definitely think Nablett should be played at FF for the rest of our season. Our year is dead so we may as well blood him and get him fully prepared for AFL football. When Kingsley gets form back put him in the pocket or perhaps flank.

Nathan actually thinks about taking a shot when in range.
