We'll be bottom 4 at the end of the round if Port win I think. Thats close enough.

Not a chance in hell, some of you need to put things into perspective. Sure, it was a game that you shouldn't have lost from that position, but for the first half and a bit, you completely dominated the best side in the comp.

Confidence and momentum can be turned around very quickly these days, and everyone knows the talent you have at your disposal. Don't know who you guys have next but if you can sneak a win and build from there, I still wouldn't be ruling out September action.

Always a chance. I'm kinda hoping we do finish last (or second last) too. Can't wait to welcome M.Thorpe to Catland. :)

It pains me to say to that "me too"

What would be the damn point of scraping into the finals, or just finishing outside of them (again)?? Does nothing for ya, like we have found time and time again in the past.

I'll be happy to experience a lil pain this year :thumbsu:

Can't hurt much more than it does at the moment - the realisation that we are no premiership threat at all... I'd hate for Geelong to build up my hopes once more and then shatter them like a donkey in a glassware shop... Lets take Collingwood's tactics and bomb out - aim high (in the draft)

Agree that finishing in the middle does you no good.
I dont think we have any hope of getting the spoon.(have we ever won one)
Maybe the problem with our team is that we have finished in the also ran section of position 6 - 10 an awful lot over the years and as a consequence we also have a lot of mediocre footballers to go with it.
Its almost like you need to finish on the bottom to pick up quality footballers.
Having said that St Kilda, Freo, Richmond etc have had a lot of high draft picks but dont seem to have done any good with them.

OMG!
Me too.
It's like 'I want to finish bottom'
Then when we play I say' I want to win this'
It's so annoying.
