I wouldn't be this passionate about Kingsley continuing to get chance after chance if it wasn't for all the ppl who could do a better job? I could do a better job than him, and they wouldn't even have to pay me to play... I would pay them to play...

appears so, time for us to bring in Andrew Lee for his first game against one of the lesser forward lines in the comp. Geellong will win by 4-5 goals in my opinion.

Have you ever seen a 195+cm, 100+kg giant move gracefully?I said he was unco, nothing to do with gracefulness. He just doesn't inspire you with confidence when he's near the ball. He does get credit for kicking 6 and he did kick his last goal from the same spot in the pocket where Kent missed two - not making the distance. But I'd rather see Spencer brought in to replace Harley so that Moons can stay CHF.
Go CATS!!

Yeah, but that was partly due to the terrible delivery that night (Round 18). I can vividly remember that. We bombed it long on top of his head whilst he was playing on a giant like Fletcher
Harsh on Playfair...would like to see your winning % for when he is not playing since he has been a regular. Straightens us up.

How did Varcoe go?He did a few nice things and skills look good. Kicked a goal. Didn't spend a lot of time on the ground. Still limping badly but that didn't seem to affect his running. Not ready for the seniors yet.

Ridiculous comment.
For all your criticism of Ling, he is one of the few guys who actually has the motor to "gut run" all day.
Ling very rarely loses a contested situation and he's a handy option as a tagger or run with player.
OK, so he's not Asafa Powell but he more than makes up for it in other areas.

As long as he can continuously make up for his wayward handballs, soft tackles (if he ever catches them) and on the weekend....3 blatant mistakes cost us 3 goals.
Too bad we have noone to replace him with.
It has been a sad year for him.

If his endurance is so good how come his first half was better than his second? Shouldn't he have been running over the top of the Eagles and not the other way around?
Ling this season has been a disaster. Even in the victory over North he gave away a couple of goals through skill errors, and it's continued ever since. I'd love to know why Harley, Steve Johnson, Riccardi etc can all play in the reserves but Ling is immune.

Ummm... Let me think.
Oh that's right! Harley, Johnson and Riccardi have had virtually no pre-season whatsoever and have returned via the VFL.
While Lingy hasn't been as good as previous years, he's still been solid. Talk about a scapegoat!
[QUOTE=chapmanmagic35]Yeah, but that was partly due to the terrible delivery that night (Round 18). I can vividly remember that. We bombed it long on top of his head whilst he was playing on a giant like Fletcher
QUOTE]
I wouldn't say it was the delivery. For some reason Kent continually requested the ball to be kicked so he could take on Fletcher one on one. In 04 when he bagged 7 most of his goals were.........wait for it.........from quick leads. Fair enough if Otto, Moons or Nath is in the square but as a lead and mark forward like Kent, to try and constantly push off against Fletcher was a bit too far fetched. If he comes in (and that's a big if) then he must lead continuously throughout the match and if he struggles leading from the square then use him as a link man off half forward. One thing for sure is that Mooney is our CHF. His confidence is sky high and he has delivered consistantly on the forward line. Him heading back to defence starved us of a major option last week and had a major say in the way the game finished up. Scarlett, Egan & Dash to take the talls with Rooke to be the other taller option. Leave Moons up forward where he belongs.
Varcoe is not ready as yet...
Give him time everyone...
We are giving him time. where just asking how is he progressing.
