From what ive heard that the Bell Park coach isn't letting Hugh Hanlon or NIck Talarico have the game off because of the Hearld Sun Shield.

Right this has gone on long enough. The truth has to be heard.
The Bell Park Under 18’s are NOT arrogant. In fact we are told that we are never allowed to talk us up in public. And we all honour this.
The unlucky thing is that a certain person of the Bell Park fraternity, Tommahawk_07 2004 Premiership player (which he mentions seemingly in every post) who plays for the Bell Park seniors, has been talking us up non stop on this forum. He has been warned several times to stop but he just keeps posting stuff that may be hurting our team’s public image.
Cam_the_bruce, has also been talking Bell Park up on this board. He is a Bell Park under 10 coach! He has no knowledge of the GFL under 18’s whatsoever, except for Bell Park so that is all he talks about.
C’mon guys, the Bell Park under 18’s are not arrogant, or at least try not to be. A few people from outside the team who only see them on the weekend have talked us up none stop on this forum.
Some may argue that everyone on this forum is arrogant, eg bucky and hilly, however with the exception of these guys (including tommahawk) I would say that everybody is biased, not arrogant. They are two different words with two different meanings. Everyone on this forum is biased towards their teams.

Nick Costello (North Shore) had an incident on the weekend against South Barwon that could of ended his career at North Shore. He was reported (and suspended for 2 weeks) for striking Alistair Burrell (South Barwon) and promptly sent off. As he got over the boundary line rumour has it that he immediately had a go at Wade Chapman from the seniors and went into the rooms, grabbed his bag and went home! He was allegedly quoted as saying he "would never come back to North Shore again"! Can anybody confirm this??
Has this ended North Shore's premiership hopes in 2006, and even 2007??

Honestly fought north shore were never ne good to undiciplanned never had a shot at a granny. the final will b out of south barwon, park, n joeys only real contenders i would thinik

yeah i only just found out that they werent players so im guna stop goin on about bell park bein arrogent coz i didnt realize they dont play and yeah congratualtions to the st albans boyz good effort.....north shore way too dirty...bunch of snipers when they start losing and all they concentrate on is goin for the man wen there losing so i dnt think they wood be a contender at all

yeah im good mate....dnt think we actually have any chance were sooo terrible....ive asked the coach to put me on the back flank so i can get more kicks...so frustrating in the forward line and i rekon wen ppl pick up mondays addy stevenson may kick 5 or more coz we got no1 for him

i am hereby resigning from my position as chris lynch's #1 fan. i am also resigning as president of the fan club as i feel i can no longer fulfill my duties with the 100% commitment it requires. i will carry on as #12 or #13 but i feel my heart is just not in it anymore and i cannot continue. he has let me down on one too many occaisions...

I dont think the GFL coaches have a say if the players can play or not for their club and run the risk of injuring themselves for the Herad Sheild Final... it should be up to the player. I'm sure if I had the chance to play on the MCG, i'd sacrifice one game not to play, especially if we are expected to win or can't make the finals in my local team...

he is a freak show! played against him a few weeks back and i tell ya what this kid has the goods. quick, tough with a good long leg on hiim for a youngster. how old is he buck? could be one to watch in the next few years i'd imagine...

brendan "napoleon" middleton is certainly an integral part of this very miserly defence but dont forget his mate martin "pedro" lumsden!! also kevin "DK" reid could be thrown into the mix! you could raffle it out of these three for most influential...

ummm he would be 16 i think maybe 17....but yeah his very quick and very well built....played full forward against newtown on the w/e in the absents of david mensch and he kicked 4 goals in the first quarter thru sheer pace and strength....his attitude has been a worry in the past but his picked it rite up since his been in seniors and will be a good player in the future for grovedale

Hugh Hanlon is the only player playing in the Hearld Sun Shield this week from Bell Park. Not sure on the situation if he is playing on saturday for Bell Park. Nick Talarico was dropped from the Joeys school side..

If marys come out strong they could win by 4 goals, too many gaps in joeys defence this week...
Big Muz i think it is fair to say that Sam and the Falcons do not have the best relationship, especially when John Edsell is concerned, stemming from when Sam was in the U/15 squad and some were unhappy with his character. He seems to be going very well with his athletics, yet i have heard some strong rumours from reliable people associated with athletics concerning him, which i hope are not true; and have yet to be proven.
Also, although with 5 good players out, i think the Joeys boys will be keen to bounce back with a win and cement a finals spot this week after their loss to a very respectible Bell Park team.

St.Mary's will win this game by 4 goals. Joey's rely too much on those 5 players. Also Anthony Kelly just missed out of Herald Sun shield, so he will play, and Michael Parsons also just missed out so that might even things up a bit, but not enough with st.marys being very even throughout.

Top Gun iv heard that rumor aswell he has seemed to suddenly put on a fair bit of weight. Like he was always fairly solid but...

yeah im actually still under 16s playing under 18s and i played falcons with all of those boys last year in the under 15s except hugh hunter who didnt make it....pat is a gun who should come to the gfl....and jordan and benny r guna be gooood players whereva they are in a few years.....1 to watch for the future is braydee watts from north geelong doesnt get recognized at all because most likely of the club he plays at..i have massive raps on this kid as a full back, he plays centre for there under 16s in divy 2 but in good teams such as falcons is a full back and a freakshow...looks a tad lik ryan williams with the red hair and the hair do itself but will be geelong falcons full back next year, reminds his falcons team mates of matthew scarlett with the way he goes about it...i dont realli think any of the 16s this year will be dominant forces in the falcons next year from the gfl

Joeys showed today how weak St.Marys really are. With 6 of there best players out, they still won by 10 goals. Joeys backline with the likes of Torpy and Cahir were too strong.

No, he's saying this because they look like a very good team. We lost to South Barwon by a similar margin, but they didn't convinve us. Bell Park will win the GF.

boys boys boys.... are u forgetting round 6 when south barwon made the bell park boys look like little kids out on the field and are we writing off the colac boys who have been in such great form and love playing away from home and the joeys boys have been up and down all yr but with a few players in there side they will surley be in the running for footballs grand prize and North Shore well there Fu****

yeah his had bad knee troubles but i dont know whether its had much of an effect on his agility or anything coz his improved alot since last year

Belly, just remember the players that Newtown were without on the w/e...3 top class joeys boys aswell as college boys such as rockefeller. If Town had these players than sure the game could have been a whole lot different, as you wouldnt have had a kid that couldnt kick called 'BK' on woodman. I must admit that you did play quite well at getting the ball although you turned it over more often than not. Will be close this week as Newtown have a lot of payback to get Joeys with.....

Remember last time Bell Park had players out not sure how many. Colac won't go anywhere in finals and North Shore are looking ****house.

Yeh I reckon we'll go alright this week, some big ins joeys should be looking out for. Should be a closer game then people think.

If you remember, Newtown wasnt with its full team, with Big Joel Iskra not playing and Nash not playing either...But it has been the way with Newown This year, with them wanting payback from earlier in the year, they just havnt had the personel, to do the job. If they play the way they did against Colac, then anything is possible...But you dont know what to expect.
