team:Swans
location.clarence river
other teams:any non victorian.

How can the coach keep saying the team is further advanced than this time last year, with Ted (Wrongway) Richards. If this guy was two inches shorter he would be on the bench for north shore.

no idea what you just said...but if you're asking, if you were as good as you were last year?

Swans were never an eye catchin, smash every other team type team that the West Coast eagles, or Adelaide Crows are. They are a team that dominates stoppages, and plays hard contested footy.

This is why they haven't got the recognition still. I don't think they're still of play is best suited for the home and away season, but it's perfect for Finals.

like deeps I don't know what you said mate but if you wanna know if were are as good as we were well now I think we have chances. If we can pull of Richmond style wins were are excellent:thumbsu: but I think we are now just contenders for the flag and will be for a while yet. still I think West Coast or Adelaide look like coming on top

No, because it's not true. What's wrong with Teddy?
He's cute, he tries his heart out and is improving all the time.

So English IS your 5th language.

You do not think that Ted has been improving this year? What do you see as being his faults, do you see anything positive in his play?

I agree with you Nat, he seems to be having a red hot go and could, maybe, become a solid player. I am willing, like Chambers, to reserve judgement for the moment.

I don't think Richards is great. Not a very good decision maker at the moment.

He has had some good 'moments' though and I think the potential is there. We will continue with him much the same way we did with LRT. He is not going to improve in the reserves (although neither will Schmitt)...

We don't need Richards to be anything but a servicable player who can chip in at the back and take a mark up foward when needed. We don't need RIchards to be a superstar. If he is not performing his role (nothing to indicate this so far) there is always Vogels and Dempster there knocking on the door for a go.

Chambers is the same. Produced his best no. of Hitouts since coming over to Sydney last week: - 15. Doing very well. :thumbsu:

Teddy is a perfect fit. Roos will make something out of him, no probs. He's been caught a couple of times, sure. But there is barely a player in Red and White that hasn't had an amusing blooper moment this year. That's footy.

He's doing his job. :thumbsu:

Right now Teddy, Bolton and Demspter all play such similar team-oriented roles that if any goes missing through injury (as Bolton did recently) our structure has remained completely intact.

Richards is a reject from the most under perfomed club in the AFL,and plays accordingly.

Teddy is apart of the premiership winning side and play accordingly.

I think you may be more interested in insulting Essendon than in paying attention to our side's make-up this year.

Our depth in our back six has increased with his recruitment. This was clearly shown when Bolton was injured.

I think some of the resentment to Teddy has to do with Dempster struggling to cement a place. It's true that Dempster had a great year in 05, and I'm certainly one who would love to have him as a starter again. But franky he had to be good last year. There wasn't much else on the shelf. This year we have the luxury of bringing him in and out of the side.

In my opinion Essendon are already looking a little silly letting him go.

To be honest I didn't pay too much attention to him at the Bombers, but in the time he's been at the Swans he's been pretty effective. Provides an extra bit of height in the backline and seems to be pretty solid there too. I'm happy with him for sure.

Lets see, Richards is:
- a solid mark.
- willing to back into a pack to spoil/mark.
- a half decent kick.
- can play at either end if necessary.
Sounds reasonable to me:rolleyes:

C.V you are entitled to your opinion just try not to get it wrong too often.:thumbsu:
