Tides can turn I remember a few years ago St Kilda was 10-0 at this stage and then their season fell apart. If teams like Geelong can turn their slump around and run into form before the finals what is to stop them doing well and a game against Essendon at this time of year is just what the Cats need for their confidence.

The system has changed, bombing out is useless. We are too good to finish in the bottom 2 or 3, the lowest we could absolutely finish would be 12th. The cream of the crop is gone by then. The best KPP etc.
Who wants to bomb out anyway? I sure as hell don't want a mid-year sacking and look like a laughing stock....
