We have more flags.
West Coast is winning.
West Coast have a young champion. We have an old one.

Seen the ladder lately? Sheedy is crap

one team is full of belief
one team couldn't find belief if they fell blindly into it and drowned
essendon got some half-decent players, and some average up and comers, they need at least 40 games to show something, but really, they just play terrible and their football is rubbish. I hope they win against geelong, and show something for the fans.

But WCE are more successful for the time they've been in the league

I can smell bay 13 :o
West Coast are a little better than Essendon at this stage!
Ummm...
8 wins,
about 50 percentage points,
15 positions on the ladder,
prospects of playing finals footy this year and many years to come,
One is the beacon of all things good and right about football, while Essendon is pure evil... :p

You sound like Jarrad Molloy- he says "at this stage" on the end of every second sentence!

How do you figure that?
1987-2006 = 2 West Coast Premierships (yet nothing for 12 years) + 2 X R/U
1987-2006 = 2 Essendon Premierships + 2 X R/U
Seasons/Premiership
West Coast = 20/2 = 10.00 years/P'ship
Essendon = 110/15 = 7.33 years/P'ship

That one can be able to win games and still have injured people.
The other can win games but only if their injured weren't injured.

WCE joined in 1986.
Essendon joined in 1897

Essendon joined in 1897
so it should have been 21/2 and 110/16.
so Eagles a permiership every 10.5 years, Essendon one every 6.785 years...
Mcchawk makes a very valid point.

Yep. Mcchawk struggles with reality as I've found out just recently... So don't be too harsh on the guy.

Sorry I robbed you of a Premiership. I was tossing up whether it was 15 or 16, but took the conservative (and inaccurate) option.
Draft picks.....
And the clock....
....and Essendon just arent that into it thisy year, pitty.

No, West Coast were formed in 1986 with their first season being 1987.

Exactly.
And there wouldn't (or shouldn't) be a single club in the comp who'd realistically be disappointed with a "one Flag every ten years" outcome. It should be considered a mighty achievement in this day and age.
I would take it for my club in a heartbeat.
Since the afl formed in 1990 they have both been in four grand finals, have two premierships and they both have 232 wins.

And Wallace ,like clarkeson,is a cunning funt.
Eagles have wings of feathers
Bombers have wings of metal
Bombers could destroy a town
Eagles...well im sure they can kill mice or something
Bombers fly up
Eagles fly high
Bombers are to win the premiership flag
Eagles are here to show you why
Bombers strive for glory and fame
Eagles are kings of the big game
and thats the only difference
