Adam Gilchrist has pulled out of the One Day side due to personal reasons and has been replaced by Western Australian teammate Ryan Campbell.

I'm quite surprised that they chose Campbell ahead of Brad Haddin.

Hopefully they slot Campbell into Gilly's opening spot, like Gilly, if he comes off the win is almost guaranteed.

Cheers

Very interesting.

the selection of campbell over haddin isnt suprising since he was the Aus A keeper.

Maybe his personal problems had something to do with that awful shot against South Africa first ball.

Also considering that Haddin is from NSW and Campbell is from WA.

Campbell can't do any worse then what Gilchrist got with the bat on Sunday. I was half expecting Gilchrist to have a rest for one or two games, although putting Campbell in Sydney might cause a backlash from Haddin fans.

I think it screwed up most fantasy teams, Gilly is usually a dead cert for any fantasy team.

Haddin is actually from the ACT, but plays for NSW because the the six cricketing states didn't want to be embarrased when the ACT Comets won the ING Cup.:D :D

He's playing for NSW now, that is usually key criteria for an immediate call up to the Australian side.
