Hi guys I am just a bit confused about this guy ( Lecras ) and would someone please fill us in with the truth.
He was on the extended bench for us this week but I read so much negativity about him eg; soft , can't play and is a long way off of getting picked for a game for the Eagles.
Why would he be on the extended bench for this game?
Can someone fill us in as I don't live in WA so I don't get to hear a lot about him.

Embers doesn't like him.
He's coming along quite well, but needs to put on some serious bulk IMO.

I agree. I watched most of the peel v west perth game yesterday and he didnt look to bad. Kicked 2 early goals and got some good touches, but with his size would get pushed around way to easily in the AFL

there are many parts to his game that are not at an AFL standard and probably never will be

People have to remember that he's in his second season after being taken with the 37th pick. He's not Morton or Hurn who were touted as top 10 draft prospects, and when you put that into consideration LeCras has been quite pleasing IMO.
He's shown improvement in his kicking and I don't see why he wont be able to bulk up in the future. I hate to bring Rosa into everything I post about but accoring to Wiseby, one query over Rosa is his ability to gain weight; still, no one talks about that. Instead they rip into LeCras baselessly for the same reason, knowing that he's the same age as Rosa, the same weight as Rosa but 7cm shorter.

I dont think he will put on enough weight either, just needs to cop a hit really. Morton is skinny but he puts his body on the line week in week out and I dont understand why Le Cras cant even attempt to do the same. He kicked 7 goals was so close to a call up and failed to do the extra 1 percenters needed.
He has laid 14 tackles this year, 1 per game, for WAFL level that is just plain abysmall. Samps has that many in 3 WAFL games pretty much

As hinted above...
The word around the place is that his offensive stuff is 1st rate.... but his defensive work is shocking.
Until he remedies this, he'll never get a game.
