Imagine Jonathan Brown (currently in the Brisbane Lions) sitting up forward for the Eagles.
Our powerful midfield delivering to him almost every time we enter the forward-50. I was wondering if he was worth trading for one of our young kids (I know it's a bit early to talk about trading) but Brown's not very old, and I think he would really dominate if he had a midfield with the likes of Judd, Kerr, Fletcher, Cousins and Embley etc. etc.
Jake Niall from The Age says if Jon Brown WAS at West Coast, he'd be kicking 10 goals just about every game.
What does everyone think about this?

I'd actually rather Fev, wouldn't cost as much as Brown.
Having said that our delivery to our forwards ain't great. One disadvantage of having a good running midfield is that they tend to carry the ball more which makes it harder for the forwards to time their leads, often pushing them wide....

Brisbane wouldn't trade Brown for Judd, let alone "one our young kids".

Brisbane wouldn't trade Brown for Judd, let alone "one our young kids".I would seriously consider giving away Brad Smith for Jonathan Brown. Maybe even throw in Sam Butler.
Wasnt there a thread earlier in the year depicting how we picked T.Gaspar in front of J.Brown.

If only Essenon had a decent coach, Johnathan Brown, Chris Judd, Riccuito, Buckley, Cox and a few others we'd be back in the form of 2000 :thumbsu:

If you had Brown i think you'd have to be willing to kiss goodbye up to three of Judd, Cousins, Kerr, Embley, Cox, Braun, Stenglein, Fletcher. Not to mention that you'd struggle to be able to pay for future guns such as Waters, Butler, Nickoski, Hurn and Priddis;)
