Hey everyone,

I am just going around and seeing that there are so many posters on Big Footy, I am running a contest to see who is the most poular and best judged by the posters themselves, you guys! Every club will be doing it and all you ahve to do is PM me with an official nomination of:

A) the best poster from your club

B) the best poster from another club

Then through this I will put a poll on each of the clubs boards revealing the nominations and the top two from each club will go through to the semi-finals which then the top eight will be decided to finalise the best poster. Any questions, please ask in this thread, but remember, the only votes that will count are via PM. It closes Friday at Midnight. :)

Cheers guys :thumbsu:

Collingwood have some good posters
Mark always gets me thinking
Jabso is always straight to the point
LF 50 has good passion
Magpie Greg knows all there is to know about Collingwood
Hotpie generally thinks laterally
Steph although new, writes some good stuff
crackers57 makes me laugh

Other Clubs
Lance Uppercut (Essendon) is clever funny
Binxy and worthy (Hawks) are very good
Lioness is good (Bris)
Richo 83 is excellent (Tigers)
nicky (swans) is good

I'll think of some more later

Hotpie has retired because his name was too gay. I am now Timmy From Thomastown, named after the legendary "kid" who rings in to the Coodabeens every other week.

Thanks for the kind comments Murray

Cheers

Ah hah, OK, the penny finally drops.
It might take me a while but I get there in the end.

And I left off Zeke, he gets everyone's attention and never stops pushing 'the Collingwood line'

Cliff from Clematis is my all-time favorite. Always good for a rumour.
Peter from Peterborough's pretty funny too.

One that was only on for a very short time was Pik from Pretoria (Sth Africa).
Very funny, but sailed very close to the wind, hence he only lasted a few months.

Yeah I've got the cd, has like 60 tracks of it.

Another couple that are good is Ivan the Melbourne supporter, and Stan the statistician.

Timmy, I didn’t realise you were hotpie. Used to love Timmy and digger.

Always remember not long after Mathews took over Digger rang in. Said something alone the lines of:
I don’t know about that Mathews Tony.
Why is that Digger.
He umpired the intra club match…
Yes Digger
He’s no good. He crucified BOTH OUR SIDES.

As for the thread, we have a lot of good posters. Some I agree with and some I often don’t but that’s all part of life and footy. Contrary to popular opinion we are a diverse club. There are a few gooduns from other clubs but who cares about them they aren’t Collingwood.

Ivan - "Is it me, am I on, is it me"

Him talking about his first time going to the Dome was a joy to listen to.

What's his name from Warrenwood, the old Fitzroy codger was great too.
