- Sydney will be an awesome side next year, but they have the hardest run, and because of that they will struggle to win away from home. But I reckon they will only lose 1 game at the SCG.

Suits us fine. Back to underdog status, just like in 2000.

So are the Dees just supremely confident that the even number year will produce better fortunes?

 With A.Rocca kicking 140 goals 2 behinds for the season, I can see all this happening ;) Will Akermanis go back-to-back Brownlow's?? or will A.Rocca get it after his prime performance.

I think you're on the right track with the featured teams, I agree with the Swans prediction but to lose 10 on the road doesn't sound right. I expect the Swans with 15 wins along with Essendon who will have a tougher campaign than the last three dominant years that only captured ONE flag :p

The Blues - Freo - Tigers and Crows stand a chance of featuring in the mix with the Dogs being the vunerable team to reach 12 wins. The Tigers will most likely finish as high as 3rd if Richo KICKS straight. I'm banking on North to hit back with a vengaence
so it'll be interesting how things will shape up.

Don't expect the Cats, Eagles or Sainters to have a big one.

4th: Hawthorn - 13 Wins/8 Losses

The Final Eight after Round 22

1st: Brisbane - 18 wins
2nd: Essendon - 16 wins
3rd: Port Adeladie - 16 wins
4th: Carlton - 15 wins
5th: Richmond - 14 wins
6th: Hawthorn - 13 wins
7th: Sydney - 12 wins
8th: Kangaroos - 12 wins

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9th: Collingwood

Expect Kangaroos and Carlton to make a late surge, and Sydney and Richmond stumbling during the final rounds, they had a chance to be in the top four, and blew it. Collingwood... well, I predict 9th place with 1% behind Kangaroos ;)
