I was just coming in here to post the same thing Jars....beat me to it.
Surely, this guy has to be rushed into the Aussie team for Sundays game...he is on fire! The NSW attack is not all that bad either, he's just batting with some guts, which is desperately lacking in the current Aussie line-up.
Boof in for Ian "the Hack" Harvey.
He should have been picked from the start, mainly so NSW would have had a chance to win this Sheffield Shield game.....damn we went close to 1st Innings points this morning! I reckon Michael Clarke will play for Australia within two years, what a terrific first year!

He has to surely be bought in after this weekend with the talk of changes being made to the squad. I think he was finally out for 142 from only 130 deliveries.

yeah, bring back boofhead...warney needs somebody in the team to bum ciggies off...
Lehmann is a fantastic one-day player. He has the ability to improvise his shots, which it vital in limied over cricket. I've seen him play some un-text book shots, to very good balls, which he has disposed to the boundary.
For that mater, Hayden has been in such good form, that he has earnt a place (one would think.) Steve Waugh is the player who is most "out of form" at the moment. He bats relatively low, and doesn't bowl anymore, but given that he is captain, he will retain his spot.

See my post 'Boof Lehmann please stand up'
Although we won tonight, there is still room for improvement in my books. I thought Symonds would really go out there and have a big slog, but he seemed to play a more reserved style of cricket and that led to his dismissal. Anyways, Lehmann should have a spot in the side. :)

Boof should definently be in the side. It was in the paper today that last season in the Mercs he averaged 132 with a strike rate of 111. At the moment his batting is far better then both Waughs, Bevan and Hayden who are all in the side.

Yes, they must be saying to themselves "why did we ever think Higgs was up to playing for Australia?"
