Hot off the radio, I hear Michael Wilson buggered up his knee again today. At this stage, they're expecting the worst.....any updates anyone has would be great.

:( This is shattering. Poor Michael. He has been training the house down apparently....must of pushed just that 1% too hard maybe. 1 1/2 years out of football now....i hope he can come back from this.

Its at times like this that you sort of resent your fringe players a bit. Michael Wilson, grade A player is going to be sitting out the whole season while other players who shall not be named can run warm and cold and because they're not as hard at it, don't get injured. Its unfair for Wilbur to miss out on Port right now....it'll be a bitter note when we win the premiership this year that Wilbur wasn't there for it.

My commiserations to Michael and to you guys.

Its a terrible thing and down our way, we understand what its like as Shanu Rehn was a terrible loss for us in the dark Robert Shaw years.

I hope Brendan Lade can stay fit this year as he is a guy that needs some luck.

We will stil thrash the pants off you this year though!;)

Very tough times for Michael. Hope that he gets back successfully. Probably makes Ladey feel a little more tentative too. I hope that everyone else realizes that they should do their best and enjoy the good times while they are around - it could be their turn next, though I think that PAFC have had enough bad luck of this type for a while.

Poor Wilbur, I hope he comes out tougher than before. 20 month pre-season is a bit of torture really.
Hope Choko can give him something to do that will keep him interested.

Hmmm...glad Francis decided to leave...not! Ironic really that he and Wilson will have similar roles at their clubs this year.

Just re-read my post and it should have read "even" tougher than before...so as not to imply that I thought he wasn't tough to begin with!
