I'm just wondering if there are any other fans of home and away on BF (i doubt it). is it just me or am I always gonna get paid out (especially by my mates) for watching the show religiously?

Is Sally (Katie Richards) still in it or has she left. Love to see her other work that she made a few years ago ;)

My family are addicted to it! I work most weeknights at the moment but I do watch it (or at the very least, listen to the dialogue) when I'm home.

Never liked Home and away. Too quiet for my liking, and possible my dislike of Bec Cartright was overpowering. Have always been a Neighbours girl.

Yeh I watch it, top show.

Very disappointed to see Peter die, he was the best on the show. What a hero. :thumbsu: ;)

The only show on TV that I consistently laugh at whenever I have to watch - despite it not being a comedy.

I know...I was really sad too! I loved Peter, he was awesome...:(

Don't worry mate....I like it too, but I must admit that I watch it mainly to perve on the hot guys....something which Neighbours unfortunately lacks....

Jack, Kim, Ric, Peter (when he was on)....and did I mention Jack? YUM....

Watched it since it started back in 1988

Like when old characters come back now.

Yes it is. I still watch it but am not real worried if I miss it, it seems that Neighbours and Home & Away are becoming more alike. I tell you now, I wouldnt want to live in either Ramsay St and Summer Bay!

Why does everyone have to die all the time.

Himbo's who cant act and make you want to puke. Most of the guys are poofs and the women tarted up lesies.

Yeah, and they all wear skanky clothes in winter. Oh, I forgot, it's summer all year round... right...

I gave up watching when Kit left (apparently she returned earlier this week). Haven't watched for a few months and can't be bothered resuming.

Great show.

They should never have gotten rid of P.Baker though.

I watch it but not religiously. It's on at my place at tea, coz channel seven is the channel news that my family watches, H/A is on straight after......its kinda hard to miss a 138cm tv screen

Interesting to see the whole stalker situation back again.

She loves the camera, no matter what the situation. ;)

I heard that Home and Away will be finishing soon because the producers/writers whatever have run out of ideas, does anyone know if this is true??

Not a hope in hell.

Bad as it is, H&A is the most watched show in Australia.

Would figure more prominently in the ratings if individual episodes counted.

Instead of the mean ratings figure derived from all five episodes in a given week.

You cant run out of ideas , they have about 25 different story lines that they will swap around and alter every couple of years.

exactly. its just like jerry springer. male/female, neighbour/best friend/sibling, animal involved/not involved, renting/free loading, employed/bum, same mother different father/same father different mother....

u get the gist.

yeah and its the same with neighbours they just borrow and steal storylines from each other. remember that robert guy on neighbours and remember zoe on home and away same type of person, same motive, same plot line. I don't know how they manage to come up with the same ideas:confused:

anyone think that when the new super doopa DVDs come out that will be able to hold about 500 hours of content on each disc, eventually comes out, that they may start putting old episodes on them and sell them off, maybe one disc for 1988, 1989..etc.

I'm surprised they haven't released discs of H&A The Early Years yet
