If your talking about sam clifton?? Ive seen him play a few times and ive also seen edgar play a few times....and i can tell you now cliffo will dominate all over edgar....Sam Clifton def underated and they will need a better player then edgar to play on him
But take nothing away from Nathen coz hes a good player just not as good as cliffo

who the u sniper what do u have to bring to the talble with footballing ability i have played juniors right through with edgar and ever since we first began has always been as solid as a rocl in defence if i do recall in 2004 we played north five times and edgar held gurton a vic rep to five goals in five appearences if u can say uve done that well then ill hold some respect but mate u've gotta start watching the kid play before u criticise

Talk it up gilbo coming from the kid that is to cool for school football

That is an unbeleivably biased comment mate did you see every game brad played last year?? i dont think so. So how can you possibly make a fair judgement on brads ability

Bug eye is terrible the only thing he has got goin for him is height and thats not much

15 May 2007, 20:34
have you ever played on edgar? or do u know a forward in the BFL who has soundly beaten him? cos i don't...

mate u put him in a team not as good as east and he would struggle on good opposition

Willy who the **** are u mate and being too cool for skool football is deffinately not the issue mate if u urself had the time constraints and the issues that i have not only with the coach but also his so called best program in australia (my ARSE) then u would also rethink playing under him and anyway who are u mate who do u play for

EastPoint12
16 May 2007, 18:10
for crying out loud for someone to come on here and talk crap about a bloke u do preety well but i damn certain that if edgar played in a somewhat lesser of a team he would quite possibly be one of the best players in the team cos he is certainly one of the first picked for us every week cos he is reliable

EastPoint12
16 May 2007, 18:12
mate quite clearly i was playing at the same time as brad was every week last season but have been playing against brad since god knows when and if think i am so biased in my words then come watch hammo play mate cos he runs rings around brad

nathan edgar is a very mediocre player and everyone agree's with that, except for the boys in his own team which is expected.. so its agreed he's a very average player and a even more average bloke with fit sisters

if i recall in the east point under premiership team of last year, edgar was struggling to get a game and did get dropped on occassions. i have seen edgar play alot and he is a solid defender, but the way football is going these days he doesent do enough. defenders are more of a running attacking player and not only defensive. and of what i have seen of edgar this year he doesent give them that. the only people that do are darian quinlain and gilbert. so stop talking him up because he is not a bad defender, but not overly great as well.

the same nathan edgar that was taking marks on the wing, taking bounces out of the half back line, and kicking a goal on saturday???

no matter how many attacking defenders you have u still need a bloke that can shut down his opponent, command and organise the back line and occasionlly run to create further up the ground. if any one player is responisble for east having the lowest score against so far this yr (average 25 pts against per game) its either gilbert or edgar

p.s. have u ever thought y the only guys to rate edgar are the ones that play and train with week in week out and actually see what he does

brad is a gimp. heard form people at the rebels that they hve given up all hope with him and have gone with jake garbey. brad cannot even kick at sebas. he is tall but doesent gurt teams around the ground with contested marks, unlike hammond from east point
all people are doing on this site are talking up there mates.

how much did the 18's lose to bendigo by in interleague? And has the riddel game been played yet? Pretty dissapointing considering the squad went undefeated last year.

having played juniors in ballarat and now under 18s in the bendigo it was no surprise to see bendigo defeat ballarat in the interleague as the depth of ballarat hardly compares with bendigo

thats right mate you played juniors.. so you have no clue about the more heavy weight teams of the league like melton south, melton, subury and even east point.. dont act like you know much about bfl football depth when it comes to under 18 level mate

mate wat perspective can u give every1 on the bendigo league... none... i played juniors, ie last year, in the ballarat league and its not like the players who played under 16's last year have become completely different players this year... ur right in saying i dont know anythin bout sunbury, melton, melton south or darley, but looking at the ladder sunbury are the only team really challenging this year so big deal... you can defend the ballarat league all you like but a convincing win in the interleague and a far more even competition would suggest bendigo is stronger

thats prob because there are so many 18s playing seniors. i assume that there are at least 2 or 3 at each club

im not saying that any other league doesnt, there are a helluva lot of 18s playing seniors this year compared with other years

i just dont see what under 18s playin seniors has anythin to do with the depth of the competition... a majority of the sides in bendigo hav between 3 and 5 under 18s playin seniors each week, these are for some of the stronger sides in the league also

Both melton south and Melton would be alot better if they had full teams...It seems this year alot of 18's team are losing there players to seniors because of there seniors not going to well

i can understand this mate... but the point im trying to make is under 18 players are playing seniors in pretty much every league across the country... and the depth of bendigo is proven by 6 or 7 relatively evenly matched teams at the top that all hav players playing seniors

looking at the bfl sides for this week out of the top 4 (east, sunbury, redan and ballarat) there are only 2, count them 2, under 18 players stepping up to seniors, and one of these is a rebels player who is recommended to play senior footy... so much for each team having 3 or 4 representatives eh
