This is funny stuff. Its amazing to think such a diverse bunch of songs could have been charting at the same time: Vangelis/Duarn Duran/Barry Manilow/Cold Chisel/Cliff Richard?? I'm especially glad that Rick Springfield got a guernsey. What a hero!

They played an episode of Countdown last night on Rage for the same year. The Peter Cupples Band performed - I never understood that this guy had any real commercial success. They had him perform at the Kangaroos team of the century dinner last year with his tipped blonde hair and chunky gold earring. It provided a good p!ss break if nothing else.
