Just an update for you interstate supporters.
Tredders said on 5AA this afternoon that his knee is feeling good, it didn't swell up at all the next day after he injure it, and he has even been running on it this week.
He said he may even be fine for the Melbourne game.

yep he's back. He said he could of played last game against you boys but coaching staff wanted to make sure he was right or maybe they just got too cocky, either one.

Actually just read ".......Port Adelaide will be without captain Warren Tredrea (knee) for at least the next three weeks, but is a strong chance to regain Peter Burgoyne, who has missed the past month with a hamstring tear........" in this article (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,19587217-36035,00.html) a few minutes ago. Stuffed if I know where the truth lies.

You should know by now that there is no such thing as truth. It is all relative. It's as though Foucault, Derrida et al have taken over the AFL (amongst other things).

I'm about to head off to Woodville Oval where Port are involved tonight in training some of the WWTFC Auskick kids. I have a minor role in that.
Later I'll have to look up Derrida and Focault, about whom I know Focaul.

The pub or coffee-shop would be where you found a lot of the arts students discussing those two jokers while the Engies just tried to scull jugs.

No wonder i never liked arts students. ;)

Channel 10 news reported Tredders ran laps at training today and is a doubtful starter for the Melbourne game. Channel 10 showed footage of him jogging leisurely.
Channel 7 news reported Tredders ran laps at training today and is a likely starter for the Melbourne game. Channel 7 showed footage of him sprinting.
Channel 7 also suggested Motlop would get a recall and showed footage of him in apparently light hearted discussion with Choco.

Port can name him in the side and I still won't be sure he'll play. We pull that stunt quite a lot.

Port Adelaide Football Club
Power captain Warren Tredrea is hopeful he can get himself back from a minor knee injury to play in this weekend’s clash with Melbourne.........
The Power’s injury list for the week beginning Monday 26 June is as follows…
Matthew Bishop, back / hamstring tightness (Round 11) – test
Peter Burgoyne, hamstring (Round 8) – test
Josh Francou, knee (on-going) – on-going assessment
Toby Thurstans, ankle (Round 11) – test
Warren Tredrea, knee (Round 12) – test

Ryan Willits isn't listed there, so it looks like the injury he copped in the Bay game must've just been a corky. Might be an outside chance to debut if Tredrea/Thurstans/Bishop all don't come up.

I'm reckon its more likely for Motlop to come in for Warren. Should be enough space for him to run around in.

Yeah I agree that is the most likely selection. It's time to find out whether
a) his shoulders can hold up or he should go in for an op
b) he can bring SANFL form to AFL games (or he fulfills Wharfie's image ;) )

How serious is the injury? How many weeks will he be out for?

How serious is the injury? How many weeks will he be out for?All sorts of stuff being pushed around but one recent article confidently said three weeks with this being the first of the three. Would seem about right for me bearing in mind we are not making an all or nothing tilt for finals action.
