Thanks to the AFL split round both SA teams are having a weekend off.
So are you all going to get back to the SANFL, or are you going to just sit at home? I had a look at the Crows board and nothing gets my goat more than folks who would rather hang themselves than be seen at our SANFL grounds.
Don't be like most AFL club supporters and say, "Hmmph, I'm not going to go to one of those small insignificant grounds to watch football! I like my champagne and tennis-style atmosphere, thank you!" :thumbsd:
It should be more like, "Oh yeah, I'm going to sink some beer, have a pie and have a sing song!!":D :thumbsu:

Accusing me of not attending the SANFL? I hope not. ;)
I'll be off to the Legs game on Friday night just as I do every week. :thumbsu:

I'll be heading south in time for the reserves game. I hope it doesn't rain. When it rains down there and that wind comes up the gullys, you can sit indoors and still get wet. One day I was there and the wind blew the numbers off the scoreboard. I've heard of perma-frost but that must be the only place with perma-mud.

I wish. Don't even get me started on that car park of theirs. I park at the shopping centre.
Finally I get a chance to see the Magpies. I will be umpiring the ressies so will definatley stay to watch the main game....Its going to be very interesting to see all the cars parked around the oval tooting thier horns every time a goals scored. Wonder if we will get another Sirengate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirengate)
I'm off to Adelaide Oval shortly with a thumping migraine so I probably won't be able to provide detailed reports on Motlop, Bentley, DeLuca and Rischbieth.

Ah, there is still sanity left in SA footy supporters.
Nothing gets my goat more than asking most Adelaidians who they support in the SANFL and all you get back is "The what-FL?"

I'll be heading to noarlunga - maybe park the car inside the ground this week and 'toot' the horn :thumbsu:
Can we drive end to end and follow our team? lol
Been AWOL from sanfl for a few years but have been to a number of games this year (with my 5yo son and had a few dobs on the oval - all good) and it is competitive footy - not always the skill level of afl but its good old hard footy!

Matt Thomas- GUN of the highest order. He is just a brilliant player, was right up there with our best tonight.
Loved his play on the wing where he backed himself as he always does, faked a handball and kept running with about 4 players perusing him. Love the way he's always prepared to back himself and carry the ball, and is as fearless as they come. Man I wish the Crows drafted him. :(

I go to Port Magpies games quite often when the Power are playing in Adelaide, as they don't clash.
