Would any of you pay $20 or $30 to go and watch a match not involving Australia? It doesn't matter if it is a test match, or one dayer. Would you go to either form of the game, if the Aussies were not playing? I don't mean state or club level Cricket either.

I would go to watch any game of cricket if I could. We get lots of cricket coverage on Foxtel involving teams other than Australia, and they're often very exciting matches.

Just look at tonight's game... how good is Cairnsy???

Well considering I've never been to a match and I'm planning to next week I would go to NZ v SA if I had to...especially seeing as though the other one is AUS v NZ with no Bouchie, Kallis and co! :D

Yes I have, and I will. :D Being a supporter of the England team, I spent a great deal of time last time they were out here travelling interstate to see them play. And half those games didn't involve Australia.

(and NO it had nothing to do with that sexy Englishman I was seeing at the time ;))

I hear whispers that my boys will be out here next summer, so yeah, more of the same I imagine. :D

And yeah if Australia happen to miss the finals, I'll definitely go see NZ v SA.

I only go if Australia is NOT playing. If Australia qualify for the finals, I won't go. If NZ play South Africa I will go. Drunken morons are part of the reason.

I went to the World Cup final in '92 and it was better than any match I have seen Australia in. I also went to the first final of the 96-97 World Series, when Pakistan played the West Indies (one of the few times Australia hasn't qualified)

I just like to see a good game. I couldn't give a f*ck if Australia is playing.

If Chris Cairns (for example) goes berserk, and hits 25 off an over, then that is good to watch, regardless of what country you follow.

dont go to one day cricket often IF australia are playing, let alone if they arent playing.

I only really go to watch real cricket, and seen as though i've only ever seen one test outside the country (Ashes 2001), im yet to see an international without Australia playing.

Yep and I have been to several matches without Australia participating. One I can remember was New Zealand vs South Africa in about 1993. The Kiwis only made about 150 so it was a bit of a non event. The other was between Pakistan and West Indies in 1996/97 and that was a fantastic match.

However the last 3 years I've seen the ODI with Australia playing.
