After watching the soccer the past couple of weeks i was wondering what it would be like singing at the footy. The Atmosphere sounds exciting watching and would really make you enjoy your time at the footy(even though where losing each week). It's done at the cricket also. Any thoughts??

the game is too quick and action packed for singing, you wouldnt get through one line of the song without abusing the umpire or applauding a mark, goal, tackle etc.

It would be fun though

Heres a tip. Only the poms can sing no matter what it is, wheather it be soccer, rugby, cricket etc. You/we can not match the poms when it comes to singing or chanting. It's not how long or loud they sing it's what they sing. They are always creative, funny and entertaining.

However it was refreshing to see at the World Cup that we have finally got rid of that "aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi" bull **** and came up with some half decent ones.

Whatever you do not ask the fanatics for any help, they are a disgrace and a embarassment to Australia. :thumbsd:

If you want a singalong at games go to The Punt Road end or Locker Room end at The Dome. I`ve got a million songs. Mostly Pommy rip offs but one or two originals. The Angus one is not bad.....
