This a game where we need to redeem ourselves. They usually play well at the SCG but I feel we have enough to get across the line. Most of the boys need to lift. I reckon the period of June July is the hardest. Starts getting colder (makes training less enjoyable) and there is still a fair way to go before seasons end. Hopefully we can lift during this period.
Swans by 26 points.

I dont think we are much of a chance in this one. Too many injuries to key defenders and you guys have a great forward line which I dont think we can stop. Plus I dont really think our team likes the lack of space at the SCG. Anyway, good luck.

Don't worry. If the tune starts at the end of the game you won't be the only one in the village with this probelm. :p

I would hope so, I know I go on about it but Matthews has been useless for a long time now and we haven't blooded anyone in such a long time...
If we don't start giving him playing time now he wont be here next year, and we will get nothing for him.

Its a tough one. I feel the same way about Matthews. He has been pretty ordinary and Schmidt has been on fire of late.

Only issue I see is that Roosy likes to keep the same team and not change things up too much. Its a good idea but then again if a guy deserves to play then he desrves to play. You cant always go on reputation.

This weeks teams
Omitted: Chambers, Richards and Matthews
Ins: Vogels, Bevan and Dempster

I think this unwillingness to blood anyone new will come back to haunt us,
Mark my words, one of Moore, Schmitt and Malceski will leave at the end of the year!

I'm not so sure about that. The "depth crisis" is exaggerated.

You have to remember that the Swans have the second youngest list in football. I'm less concerned about blooding new names as I am interested in the roles the young players have when they do hit the park.

Last year Roos persisted with Dempster and LRT with great results.

Last year McVeigh would have been the first one on the chopping board after a game like last week's. But this year he and Mal have been excellent examples of another two young players that the club is genuinely building around.

Now Dempster and Bevo are coming in this week as ready-made Premiership players. And I'm really looking forward to seeing Vogels give himself every chance. :thumbsu:

will timmy S get a game
Schmitty has been named as an emergency a few times, but he has some sort of minor ankle injury at present. I'm hoping to see him debut in the next few weeks.

He still player on the weekend in the two's. He has been averaging massive numbers and still cannot get a game. I don't think it matters what he does .
