Has anybody else got the 4 editions of the Aussie version of Wisden?
I have received them as christmas presents each year for the last 4 years.
Damn good read too, chock full of informaton.

I've got three out of four, regularly flick through them once in a while. Excellent value for the serious cricket fan.

They're good aren't they waggers.
One fascinating tidbit I picked up from the most recent edition is that Don Bradman scored only 6 sixes in Test cricket! 6! Lowest ratio to runs scored in test cricket history. Unbelievable, guess it explains why he averaged 99.

I remember listening to an interview of Sir Donald Bradman who always used to believe that if you hit the ball along the ground you could never be caught out.
Very true indeed!!

Alternatively, when Sir Garfield Sobers was asked whey he hit the ball in the air so often, he said. "Because there is more room there."
