What a great 2nd quarter he played but unfortunately game time cut short due to injury.

Porpz >> Van Berlo :p
I also like how he moves... going to be something.
Time to give him more game time

I remember reading someone said he had the best pair of hands they'd seen... Well, that mark in the second where he was bumped, but held it like Stewart Loewe! What a grab!
Got a nice pair of hands ... hardly made errors .. goal kicking was accurate and disposals were excellent. Could hardly fault his performance today while he was on!

nOt only are they vice like but he's very quick with the handball.
So what happened to his hip?

He would've clearly won the NAB rising star for rnd 13 had he not been injured. Probably our best rookie to date, even though, not nearly enough game time. Big call I know, but can you blame me? :D
He didn't put a foot wrong, love the kid. But I'd like to see him play a full game next week. That'd be a real test.

Hate to compare these 2 as they have very different qualities. IMO, both will be very handy players for AFC.

Meant it as a joke. Both are definitely worth their weight in the team and it's unfortunate that VB had to have such a crunching injury to his collarbone.

I'm pretty certain that Porps is too old for the NAB award anyway.

Kept up his 2 goal a game average, which is about as good as any other small forward at the moment - especially since he hasnt seen a heap of gametime in his 4 matches.

Gun of a player, get more games under his belt and in two years time will be easy in our starting 22. How good were his hands today??? Bloody awesome:thumbsu:
He really impressed me :thumbsu: He took every mark cleanly and didnt miss a goal. Lets hope he's ok to play against sydney
