so thats why in the second half when it dried up richmond were still the better team. don't try and blame the weather, richmond played better footy in all categories all day.

So it's fair to say that we've experienced a massive improvement on the field this season. I'm yet to see too many Collingwood supporters, at any stage this year, talk up a premiership. That's all media talk. We, too are in a rebuilding phase, but the hardest part of that phase is yet to come.
I think you're reading way too much into today's result. We've had two very poor games this year, one against genuinely talented opposition (Melbourne). As I've said elsewhere, I am at a loss to explain today's result, but I offer no excuses. As for what will happen in 2-3 years, you're deluding yourself if you think you can predict the future.

If you have to know, my club pasted yours a few weeks back, beat the bombers the week after and then smashed the Power this week. Moreover, if you really want to know, we've won 9 of the last 10 and are now regarded as the best Victorian hope for the flag.

Adelaide are a powerhouse team, They seem to destory everything in their path with comfort and ease.
But time will only tell if they can continue the dream run they are currently having.
I for one Think Melbourne match up well on most teams and continue flying under the radar.
But i guess we will find out in September.
