You have to love the Bullies fighting spirit after all their injuries.
I was worried what the break would do to us - I guess the Weagles should have been more worried!
Lets worry about where we are after round 22
Top 2 is achievable , top spot would be nice

Top 1 achievable too ... 6 of 9 games at home and although a fairly tough draw I would think we should hopefully win 6-7 of those games

effectively two games clear when you take into account percentage - and three clear of third.
Also Cox may be out with a possible collarbone injury for about 6-8 weeks so we may have a good chance against the eagles at subiaco! Cox has been imperative for the eagles success for the last couple of seasons and he's always dominated us in the games we've played against the eagles.

Wouldn't make much of a difference would it? Regarding percentage I mean. If we were on more losses than say wce and still had higher percentage we would still be lower than them.

Just as long as we don't travel to Perth in the first week of finals.

Rnd 14 Sydney SCG: 60/40 should win play well at the SCG our quick ball movement out of our backline on the small SCG could hurt the Swans.
Rnd 15 Hawthorn AAMI: Win without a doubt 60+
Rnd 16 Kangaroos AAMI: Win easy 60+
Rnd 17 West Coast Subi: 50/50 game but West Cost are struggling very possible win
Rnd 18 Collingwood AAMI: 70/30 game if the Pies come to play it will be a tight contest, being at AAMI will say a Crows 20pt win

Would only happen if we slipped to 3rd or 4th.

Yeah, depends which way you look at it, I guess. My point was the Weagles will have to win two more games than the Crows - and Collingwood three more - for the rest of the minor round to finish above them (because of percentage).

Good point. Our percentage is as good as an extra four points from hereon in.
Given our form and fixture list the earth would need to slip off its axis for us to be overhauled from here.
I wouldn't be penning in a second successive minor premiership just yet.
We've got a number of '8 point games' to come. In fact, we play all five of the teams immediately below us.
Sydney (8-5) are probably a bit too far off the pace to be a realistic chance. But if any of West Coast (10-3), Collingwood, Melbourne or Footscray (9-4 x3) click into gear over the last nine rounds, they could swoop on us like we did West Coast last year.

I can't really see us dropping top spot now. Effectively 2 games clear on top with 6 of 9 still to come at Footy Park.
The only games we can lose IMO are Sydney, West Coast, Collingwood and Bulldogs.
I just hope that Melbourne or the Bulldogs can sneak into 4th spot (provided we come top). Either of those teams would be welcome on the first week of finals, just because I think they are less dangerous to our style of play than West Coast, Sydney,Collingwood (even considering their poor form) or even St Kilda.

Don't really know why but I feel like Melbourne is a huge threat to us. Their form has been nothing short of good and we only just managed to beat them by a bee's ****. Unless a form slump hits them, i don't think I would like to meet them in the first week of finals.

Playing Melbourne away would worry me.
Playing them at home does not. We would have to have an average winning margin against the Dees at home of about 10 goals over the last few years. I personally don't see it changing. They just don't travel to AAMI well.
