Ladey a big shot at an AA berth this year and it would be well deserved.

and he's up against the other contender this week

Murphy out for the year also gives Pearcey a shot at the Rising Star :thumbsu:

Bad weekend for longish term injuries

If Cox was fit for the rest of the year they would have given it to him. They seem to like naming players that have been in an AA before instead of new players...thats why some guys seem to get in ahead of others when its not warranted.

If Lade continues to play the way he has been, he should get it.

Would be an outrage if Lade did not make AA this year. To have a season like the one he is having after having so many crippling injuries is a phenomonal effort by a phenomonal player.

There wouldn't be any other ruckman in the league who would be as skillful as Brendan Lade. As a Power supporter im a bit bias to say it but ive always seen him as the most skillfull in the league. Im glad hes having the season he is so more people who havent noticed him previously can really admire what a great player he is. Not only all australian but ive got him at long odds for the brownlow and im quietly condident.:thumbsu:

His rucking is the best of any player league-wide since we entered the AFL.

Wouldn't you say that Lade was beaten by White on Saturday?

Simmonds should give Lade a lesson on ruck work at Amy this Saturday.

it's time 'Tigerland' was played to the Port home crowd.

No luck in your eight previous attendances, do Tigers have nine lives like cats as well?

As for Simmonds, pffffffft!

Lade should get it based on form so far IMO, however when has a few weeks on the sidelines ever affected AA selection? It's not like the brownlow & rising star is it, where there are votes each week?

I'm sure I've heard Mike S. say they put together an AA side after each round, so performances in the early part of the season aren't forgotten. If one player is clearly better a couple of weeks out isn't going to make the difference, I can't remember a player missing 6 or more getting an AA gig lately though.

I think Wirrpanda only played sixteen or so last season and he got in. It is a bit unusal though.

I really hope Lade gets in the all-australian team this year. He just seems to be a genuinly nice guy, not to mention he's had an outstanding season.

Why would lade not get it even if cox was not injured?

Lade aa certainy for mine even if cox was not injured lade is more versatile than cox

Surely the AA team will have two ruckman, just as all good club teams have. So therefore the question should be will lade get the main job as ruck or will he be picked on the int bench?

No luck in your eight previous attendances, !

That actually felt like it was worth the wait. But you're right, it was long overdue.
