According to www.essendonfc.com.au in their injury section they expect for Courtney to miss 3 weeks at least with his broken ribs. I suspect it might be like the injury Hirds had.
Hopefully Courtney can get his fitness up to play the reminder of the season.
Sums up our season really....an ounce of fortune (Johns showing his capabilities) n a kick to the groin (metaphorically speaking).
Id kill for the 'loan system' to be introduced to our game right about now.
I've given up hope for even an ounce of good news this season, hopefully where saving it up

Who will play full forward next week?? I think next week is all about damage control. I hope CJ gets back quickly and gets a few more games under his belt. Maybe he can dish out a few broken ribs and kick a few goals when he gets back.

Stick Lovett in the goalsquare maybe, and Reynolds I spose
I was gonna suggest P.Ryder in the goalsquare but his pack work seems so lackluster atm, would not make an impact against the Saint imo, we're running low on choices

Yeah, season has provided us the most need player injured season. I just hope this team can be healthy for 10 games nest year, i dont remember any team besides the top team having that luck. :thumbsd:
Well, Monfries kicked 5 against the Lions in a losing side...would only mean if they line up a smaller backman on him, we'd have to have some talls to take away from the contests in our forward 50

Paddy Ryder looks half asleep while he plays. The sure sign of an emerging champion. I think we need to get him some 'bickies on Chapel' before he plays.
