View Full Version : Lehmann's obsence gesture
:D Lehmann in hot water
Yorkshire have reprimanded Darren Lehmann for making "an obscene gesture" to Lancashire fans during the Twenty20 Cup match at Old Trafford.
The incident, captured live on Sky television on Friday night, occurred immediately after Lehmann had caught Lancashire batsman Paul Horton.
Yorkshire chief executive Stewart Regan said: "The club do not condone this behaviour and have met with Darren to discuss the matter.
"Darren apologises for his behaviour, which was a spur-of-the-moment reaction after being barracked during the game by the Lancashire fans.
"The club have dealt with the matter internally and are confident it will not happen again."

yeah what a jerk...imagine making a gesture like that
you'd prefer to see him fixing matches or settling rape cases out of court perhaps?

shane? you mean warnie? you can say what you like about the wide boy - he is a bit of a tool and none too bright but at least he can claim to have never fixed a match
he was the whistleblower - you know the guy who got sucked in via weather and injury reports but brought the whole scam down because he refused to actually throw a game or fix its result despite the damage that coming forward would do to his reputation
now if there had been one player in that generation of SA cheats who had done the same, perhaps Gibbs would not have been lead astray by Hansie and/or Satan...
racial abuse? I thought he muttered something in the Aussie change room - still totally unacceptable but hardly abuse...
my point is...you wont score any points of Boof because of the odd transgression...he comes from an older generation of Aussie sportsmen who don't claim or seek to be squeaky clean...you can take him or leave him really
peace

Just on the SA cheats, it was mentioned the other day that it took Boucher, followed by Kallis to blow the whistle on Hansie who obviously had Gibbs over a barrel as well. It's amazing to think that the others stayed quiet when Hansie had shocked them with his proposals. And you wonder at the mentality of many in SA when the fat prick announced on the day he was made captain that Cronje had tarnished SA's reputation and many in the country saw red and haven't like him ever since. And up until at least a few years ago there were still posters of Hansie adorning parts of Neo-Naziville aka Bloemfontein.
