This trailer gave me chills, I love the quote about his heart being the basement. It's cheesy, but it works. :thumbsu:
This can only suck.
But I will be seeing it nonetheless.

the first rocky is a really kick ass film and the second was a servicable sequel... but the rest?? they're good because they're just so bloody awful. Except for Mr T. every scene he's in is just too funny... "Hey woman hey woman!! don't want a real man???" haha classic

Um, well...as a matter of fact...yeah...
A new Police Academy movie, reuniting the original cast except for the late David Graf (Tackleberry) - is slated for release next year.
Steve Guttenberg is back!

Rocky IV and V sucked. Rocky III and Rocky II weren't THAT good.
So it's probably gonna suck.

Stallone said that Rocky V was so bad because originally he wanted Rocky to die in it, but the studio said no, so he really had nowhere to go with the movie. Hence it was terrible.

Rocky IV didn't suck.
It's a timeless classic.

To be fair DB10, he is probably saying that because of the unfortunate death of the movies greatest character, Apollo Creed.
Anyway, my sources in Hollywood have told me to expect a return of the Apollo Creed character. Apollo Creed Jr, who is the son of the original Apollo Creed. Should be great!
Even with Apollo Creed's death Rocky IV has one of the best quotes of all time in it:
"I must break you."
Not to mention the best montage ever.

Pure Gold!!!
When i first heard that line off the simpsons i was in hysterics...i can't believe it might actually happen :)
I am so sick to the back teeth of Hollywood portraying leading men as "studs" who just have to have a girlfriend who they're having sex with. Quite often this sex happens as soon as the couple first decide they're attracted to each other - and quite often it even happens on the very first date. Not only is this very unrealistic, but it's also of course, grossly irresponsible for the message that it sends.
Yet in Rocky Balboa this didn't happen. Finally there's a movie where the leading man and his girlfriend take it slowly and there's no sex or implication of sex between the couple. The scenes between Rocky and Marie were all very believable and quite poignant. To me it was such a breath of fresh air and made the movie very worthwhile.
As for the rest of the movie, I thought it was quite good, although I did find it not very credible that Rocky would really fight an angry young negro world champion half his age, and manage to last 13 rounds with him!
Also, the sub-plots with Rocky's son were a bit disappointing, and the sub-plot with Paulie very ho-hum.
All in all, the movie was quite good. 6½ out of 10. It was better than Rocky V and certainly better than the dreadful Rocky IV.
Hopefully, this is the last in the Rocky series. Although Stallone is obviously in great shape for a 60 year-old, any more fights would stretch credibility way too far.
