Does anyone have our old 80s logo handy? I went to richmondfc.com.au and tried to save the logo but it didnt work.
FWIW I wish the club would go back to the old logo.

Just do a screen grab: Ctrl + PrtScn and paste it into a program like Photoshop if you want low resolution version. There's a bigger version on the AFL web-site.
I am getting around to reproducing it as a high-rez version. It's a detailed logo so it may take a while....
I have plenty of other RFC logos and mascot artwork as I make posters of them for my bar. You can't buy team logo posters anywhere for some reason.

Tracing the original in Illustrator and saving it as an eps file. This way it can be reproduced in any size without distortion or loss of quality - great for banners/posters etc.
I'm a graphic designer so i do a lot of that stuff.

Yeah sorry ox. :o
Hence the graphic designer explanation - pr**k of a thing to do if you don't do it regularly.
I have most RFC logos in high-rez format so P.M if needs be.
I managed to 'aquire' all the Tiger Stripes Dyer artwork last week. Gave a poster to my nephew on the weekend and now he's gone from a two-bit Melbourne supporter to a bona-fide tigers supporter - even after the loss.
Brain 'em while they're young. Spreading the propaganda. :thumbsu:

Grande are you willing to share the eps files...? :)
I sometimes trace in Illustrator but really cannot be bothered at the moment.
Oxx, tracing is quite difficult for a novice and no, there isnt a command.

i used to trace logos and stuff when i was a graphic designer. not much fun but sometimes its the only way to make something hi res. the crap people used to give us to reproduce thier logos was a joke sometimes. and they expected us to engrave it in high resolution. rofl at the wonderful memories. Oh and for the record bojangles, i also like the new logo much better.

As much as I recall the vicious pumpings we'd get pretty regularly when that logo was used, many happy memories. Beating Roys when Hogg kicked 9 in round 22 night game so we finished off the bottom was sweet.
seeing us lose the same game to the bears and fitzroy another time wasn't so flash.
Ahh, happy days. At least I can have a beer at the footy now.

Sorry for my ignorance but what year was that? Didnt we have that stupid side on Tiger drawing as team logo back then?
Anyone else remember that cartoon Tiger we also had? That would have be our worst logo of the lot (although as a kid I could draw it really well) LOL

Not really - I just do it for personal use.
