It's pouring in Sydney - has been most of the week. More rain forecast for tomorrow. Most of the rain has been in the eastern suburbs of Sydney - where the SCG is.
Should even things up. The Swans superior skills will be nullified.
Krakeour would be rubbing his hands together.

What chance Moore out for Rodan?

I was at the G on friday night and you could see how the boys lifted as soon as the rain began to fall, fond memories of the Colliwobbler thrashing. Stafford to come in, rodan never to play another senior game, unless we're desperate.

Why would we bring in an out-of-form Stafford for a wet weather match on a small ground?

We'd tip sideways we'd be so top heavy.

dunno, probably same reason WT thinks Gardiner and Aker would be top recruits:rolleyes:

We are definately the most improved team in the comp once the rain comes. Therefore we are def the best value bet for the week. Just hope Sydney didn't learn too much after they tried to play dry weather footy against the saints. Get on the tiges

I backed Richmond at 4-1 when we beat them on Mothers Day 2004.

Richo nailed 7 of our 10. One of the best days of my life.

For some reason I just knew we'd win. It was a wet weather match in parts as well.

Pattison goes alright in the wet. Will most likely be Moore.

Watching Richo nail 7 / 10 was better than the day you nailed your first virgin

If it rains then Richmond's chances go up. We play ridiculously stupid wet weather football. We try to keep the same holding possession game plan instead of playing for territory and kicking it long.

From the reports I've heard rain won't be a factor tonight. Not enough for it to be a slippery dip anyway.

If we delist Rodan we'll have to pay his contract out... Can't see that happening. He signed on for two years at the end of last year. Is a waste of a spot at the moment but I doubt we'll pay out his contract.

Rodan is contacted for next season and won't be going anywhere unless we can trade him, which is unlikely. Nobody tries harder, but he's just not up to it. Not his fault he got a contract that was longer than he deserved.

Yeah tried real hard tonight and put the pressure on, but he aint a ballwinner thats for sure. I feel a bit sorry for the kid really. He'll sit back when he's older thinking what might've been if he didnt do his knee, unaware that knee or no knee, he wouldn't have made it in the big time.

You're a disgrace, he's in what, his 3rd or 4th game of his career?
He was one of our best last week, made a couple of mistakes tonight, he's a kid he will be inconsistent. He was overlooked by every side in the draft before we took him in the PSD, so he's basically a rookie pick in his first year.

Yep. If he was taken in the National Draft he would have been the final pick, and he is showing alot more than some players in the first round and definatly in the second and third rounds.

Plays like an early Chris Newman I reckon (not just because of that number 35) and despite the mistakes, you cant help but feel that the more ball he has in his hands, the more beneficial it will be in two seasons time.

As for Rodan he was originally offered a one year contract. Some good negotiations on his managements behalf as well as a threat to leave helped him secure two years. Had Richmond by the balls in a way because they knew he could be too valuable to lose so they would rather have him prove himself over two years than not have him at all.

May turn out to be a wrong decision but if Rodan gets himself right Miller will be hailed a master. He is coming off an injury remember. Although I dont really rate hm personally, if they're on the list they have my support.
