giles smashed around by ganguly for 26 in his first 3 overs, given a rest, brought back later and ends up with a 5-for.

agarkar, yes the aussies bunny, was nearly the hero when all seemed lost, scoring 36 from 24. requiring 4 to tie from the last ball, he hit it towards the boundary, unfortunately for india it was fielded and they only got 2. this is the guy that scored 4 or 5 consecutive ducks versus Australia !!!

anyway, an exciting finale. god i love cricket.

Brilliant last over from Gough. India should have got 9 from the last over but DG gave nothing away.

What about the start from India though. They were something like 0/53 from 6 overs. Thought I was watching the highlights but Sehwag and tendulkar were just smashing them.

On the thread of best 1 day player recently I said to watch out for Sehwag as I'd seen what he could do in the Tests.He seems to make a habit of outscoring Tendulkar, the guys gonna be a star.
