Just say it is a knee (hopefully not) and he's out for 12 months. Wonder how this affects Cartledge? Does he hang on another year as a replacement or do we maybe go after a Micheal Gardiner?

think we will put more work into kepler n maybe bolton for an extra ruck option. even if he can play for the next year, i cant see him playing much behind hille and laycock. still think cartledge should go..

Bad luck for the kid.
Does anyone know if a big, tall dud that plays like a girl, named Leigh Brown played? And if he did, did he touch it?
No big loss at this stage. Would be handy, but we're not any worse off without him out there

Its called development.

4 games left, then a 6 week (or so) break...its not like he's going to make any massive inroads at this stage of the year. He's probably exhausted by now being such a young kid.

IF he's done his knee, he might miss all of next year.

Oh ****! I thought it was just something minor. Has it been confirmed?

And the point being ? I mean, how does this relate to the possibility that Patrick might be out for a year ?
Also, Lachlan McKinnon, our 204 cm rookie, might be the one to step up and support Hille in the ruck.

Hey Einstein...if you had been reading the earlier posts...I wasnt aware of the nature of his injury, nor what length he may be faced with on the sidelines. Capisce??
We also have Laycock back next season... our rucks will be fine.

Thats true, Hopefully Ryder will still be full confidence and try to build his upper strenght more. Tough luck for a young kid.

apparently its an ankle injury...
apparently its an ankle injury...
Lets hope so.
Ryder's two main physical attributes are his mobility and leap, a reco would diminish those two strengths.

Not good,

According to someone at BomberBlitz who spoke to Matty Knights at the airport it's a sprained ankle, knees fine.

From essendonfc.com.au.
"Patrick rolled his ankle during the Bendigo Bombers round 17 match against Tasmania and is expected to miss the next two to three matches."
Good news considering the rumours that were floating around.
Also mentions something about Lovett having a "crack" in his hand and is being assessed. Any inside news??

From what i have heard it is around the thumb area. It was taped before for saturdays game and had to be re strapped during the game.
such a lazy footballer and trainer, watching him at windy hill in those wednesdays sessions.
bad feeling we shouldnt have picked him.
