Shocking news for the youngster & the club!
Without Neons explosiveness, Daisy would have been a wild card during the finals :(
They reckon he could be back this year but couldnt see it,especially with his light frame,he would be a target & it's unfair on the kid.
Wrap him in cotton wool til 07...

Terrible shame for the young kid... Finals in his first year would have been terrific exposure, and by all reports he goes alright in games that have big billling as well (ie TAC Grand Final, Anzaz Day game, game last week, etc)
Pendles will get more time in the midfield as a result, but we will actually miss Daisy (big statement about the kid in the first year...)
Shame...

Jason Cloke in 2002 Board!
Remember, the loss of him, a "first year player" basically meant we had to play Jarrod Molloy, who racked up an impressive one kick and two tackles, and no loose man in defence. Never underestimate a first year's players importance to a TEAM balance.

Sports report on CH10 news 15 minutes ago said they hope to have him back by September and he was definitely a chance. If that's anything to go by then we might be lucky and see the young gun back in the team come finals.
Would love to see him play, but wouldn't want to put him in any danger of doing extra damage of course.
