Does anyone reckon Mr. Cricket might have loss some of his form that he carried through the whole Summer since he isn't playing county Cricket
I reckon he is one of the keys to australia reclaiming the Ashes:thumbsu: and it would be a pity if he loses his some of touch.:(
The guy is mentally tough, i doubt a few months off will really effect him too much...
Also he has the ICC tournament to get some real cricket under his belt....

Seeing Hussey played county cricket last year, then had a full summer of Test and one day cricket, I reckon he is entitled to take a few months away to get set for the Ashes. Besides, two Shield matches makes up for a season of county cricket.
I keep saying it Hussey = strauss could hardly fail then he hit a down period .The same will happen to Hussey .

If anything it will refresh him.
The break will do him good. I think the number of runs he scores may drop slightly though as he won't always get the umpiring largesse he got last year.

I can only see him having some major drop in form only if he goes up against a nation with a world class spinner
Otherwise, he has one of the best if not the best technique against pace bowling in the world.
