Should we;
a) Trade for or draft a ruckman
b) Develop Michael Embley or
c) Use Lynch and/or Graham if needed

Personally I think c because Lynch has been very respectable when needed.

Seaby and Cox are still young. Would be happy to drafy a kid but I suspect we will pick up a rookie at some stage over the next couple of years, much like these two. Lynch, Graham and McDougall give us enough depth

Why would we ask this question?

Arent our twins good enough for now and 6-7yrs into the future?

We NEED a 70-80 goal FF.

Thats what we need.

there is 1 maybe 2 of those in the league at the moment

1 is a captain of the club and the other is in line to be the next captain

Lynch will kick 50-65 goals (including finals) this year

maybe more next year, we don't need to trade for a big name forward.

Seaby and Cox are young with 8+ years left

Believe it or not but i think we need a Really good young outside Cousins like midfielder

i think lynchy will become a 60-70 goal player in the next few years. FF's dont usually play their best until they are in their mid to late 20;s and hes only 23. kicked 39 for the year, expect a big bag next week (i think michaels goona be dropped or call the quits next week.) he could be our solution in the making.

I agree with all of that and I can't believe people aren't happy with Lynch. In terms of goals, this year has been the best we've had out of a legitimate FF (i.e. Not Phil) since Troy Wilson in 2001 (40). Lynch has 39 majors right now, so he'll surpass that too.

On topic, I would just take the best available in this draft.

we definetaly need a back up ruckman of some description.... while Cox was out we were only an injury to Seaby away from having to throw Lynch or Graham as are starting ruckman....

they are good pinch hitting and buck ruckman but having to come up against good ruckman without an actual ruckman is going to be a big task...

Ruck stocks are said to be a bit thin in this draft. I think i'd like a small, goal kicking forward; a genuine crumber to play up near Lynch and the rest of the talls. Armstrong MIGHT be able to do the job, and I have held out high hopes for Morton amd Le Cras, but those hopes haven't been realised yet. Certainly a ready made replacement for Gardiner would be nice but I don't know where we will get one. Leuenberger looks as if he might be worth a try but will he still be around when the eagles get their first pick ?

If we can't get a good deal for Gardiner than in all honesty I wouldn't mind keeping him on a much lower salary because, and I know this has been said before but he really has seemed to turn a corner and I remember a few years back he was a half decent player.
