If Meesen didn't play crap he could have got a game.
Source?
If Biglands is gone i think we will get done quite considerably in the ruck today. Clarke cant handle Sandilands.

I think Meesen is well and truly ruckman number 5 as of today with Griffin knock, knocking on his door.

A few grand. Call me stupid but if you name 3 emergencies and one of your ruckmen has been doubtful all week, shouldn't you name a ruckman in the squad?
Maybe the fine is a tax deduction .

Yeh was weird that Maric was not an EMG.
Oh well, not like we can't pay the fine.

Maric played yesterday
Some very poor decision making.:thumbsd:
After a long season and a tough 4 week training campaign, Maric would not have been disadvantaged by not playing for Port.

What...no Ormand-Allens in the squad? It is pretty tough on MAric but the lad will give his utmost. He did well for Port yesterday but it's a big ask.Looks like the chance for Clarke to go all day and show his knockers.

Tough on the kid. Strange decision not to have him as an emergency. Id say he may not get much of a run on the ground.
Yesterday he had 19 disposals, 6 marks, 19 hitouts and a goal.

Wouldn't have thought you would want to run Clarke into the ground though at this time of the year

true, though I dont know if things are getting a bit tight on the scoreboard if you want a guy out there thats probably buggered from a pretty physical game yesterday.
Shall watch with interest to see how he goes. Good luck to him anyway!

Apparently there is no fine as it was publicy announced in a release.
This is only what I heard on the radio from some commentators.

No it is a fine imo
I am surprised, I nearly drove my car off the road when I heard. Over here we had heard Biglands was doubtful, and as others have said , why not name him in the emergencies? The only thing I can think of is Biglands had a final test this am and tore his hammy more...
