Like the Demons, Adelaide have taken their foot off the pedal with a few weeks left to prime themselves for a September run. Its about peaking at the right time
That is why the Demons and Crows will play in the Grand Final, and pansies like the Dockers and Swans will be left in their wake

Why would any team play ordinary now to prepare for September? That's almost as ridiculous as saying a team plays well at the start of the year to win the spoon.

What we have here folks is a common defence mechanism used by someone when they are feeling threatened. Neutral Observer is trying to convince himself more so than anyone else, that Freo are ordinary because deep down he knows Freo are playing really well and have been for the last five weeks and today they were awesome as well.
The Dockers are breathing down Melbournes' neck and Demon supporters are getting spooked!

Dumb comment. We played rubbish, but Freo weren't at their best. If they played the way they did against WC, we would have been belted by 10 goals. Just accept that we were beaten by a better team on the day, but anything can happen from here.....comments like that make Adelaide supporters look arrogant.
Freo will be a threat come finals. With home ground advantage, and a possible final against their cross town rivals, who knows what can happen?

Yeah spot on. If teams triple tream Pav then either Longmuir, Farmer or Murphy will be by themselves in the fowardline and will make it easier for them to kick goals
