Kicked 4 and looked very sharp......Is lighting quick, sensational set shot kick for goal, and works hard to lock the ball in the forwars line.....He'll play Friday night i'll put my house on it!!!!!!

Good overhead mark was worth a note. A gun player of the future. A goalkicking machine hopefully.

Rusling demands attention seeing how, dare I say, he is somewhat Dunstall(ish) back in his day. A super quick forward who has strong hands.
I am looking forward to seeing him play for many years to come.

What has been his issue in the seniors this year? He was meant to come out firing but didnt do so (Other then the injury at the start of the season)

lol.........Whe'll be right mate.
Play him at FF on friday nite and rotate between Pebbles and T Cloke for CHF. Play Bucks in the midfield.
Bah I'm a bit annoyed that Tarrant needs to be rested due to shin splits or whatever he has. Even at 50% and in poor form he is better than Rocca in poor form and Rocca is unfit too. I guess if he is going to turn it around you can only give him chances to do so.

considering he was out for 2 months (not including any time he missed in preseason) it obviously set back his progress for this season...

Rusling in the team will hopefully cause some healthy competition for Tazza, with rus in the forward line, they should take bucks off there and play him CFB use his long penitrating kicks to rebound out of defence!!

When do we get your houses'?

More importantly, how do we divide up the houses?
I suggest that we count posts on this board, and the people who have had the 20 highest post counts over the past week on here each get 1% of the money from those houses.

Apparently Lonie is out now, so that means only 1 more change and they keep their houses :)

I'm happy with that........Hw was always going to play tonight.

Ruzza is the real deal after last nights performance.
Collingwood can now trade Tazza to get some more quality and know that Ruzza is more than capable of filling Tazza's boots.
nah i wouldnt mine seeing tarrant and rusling in there, tarrant does do alot of hard work most of the time, forward pressure, compared to say rocca, impressed yet again by tonights effort from rusling he does look good!

I know we just won and we should all be celebrating but I just HAVE TO give Peter a wake up call, trade Taz because we got Ruzz now?
So we are going to rely on an 8-gamer because of his performance in ONE game? And have him fill the boots of Taz?
We all know there is plenty of potential but lets not get too silly people :)
Im just looking more forward to seeing Trav developing his game more and seeing more of Heater further up the ground!

Silly comment. Tarrant is yards in front of Rusling at the moment.
Rusling hasn't done a full preseason. He will play better (consistent) football next year.

as i said, more goals then tarrant would have :) :thumbsu:
start rusling and tarrant in goal square, let rusling lead and if they ignore rusling you can still kick it taz, i wanna see that happening

yeah me too that wouldnt look too bad, both have some pace, we know tarrant has a pretty good defensive side to his game and rusling will probably pick that up more as he plays more. make match ups for opposition defence interesting. rocca was pretty useless tonight apart from that set up to didak.

outstanding game! trade taz for a ruckmen first round pick or a quality mid

i think there is a place for both taz and ruz in the best 22. they can work together with alternating searching leads whilst the other leads into space created.
anyone seen ruz take a contested mark??? am not implying he cant, just want to know what he is like when a ball is put on the head of an opponent with him leading at full pace.

Thinking a little bit too far ahead but I hope Travis Cloke can improve his marking in contests, become a big contested mark player in the AFL so that we'd have a Plan B.
Free flowing game - Tarrant & Rustling killing it
Flooding game - Rocca & T Cloke killing it
We have two players to rely on for either style of game played against us when going forward.
The forward line in the future (assuming we keep Tarrant):
Tarrant: CHF/HFF/Wing: given licence to roam
TC: CHF. Long leading and strong marking with long kicking
Rusling: FF: Explosive leading and good hands.

I want to see that sooner rather than later, its sounds a very nice prospect indeed. then add didak, davis, thomas for our crummers and it seems even nicer.
