Fox 8, 8.30 Mondays.

Walter Does look very very good in the ring.
i didnt see the first round, but K9 beat Clark and clark is a top fighter, so he should be good a fighter, cant wait for k9 v Wright, should be awesome.

I think guys like Balleta will be no match for the better fighters, as he just swings and hopes.

Balleta isnt the most classy fighter but i reckon he has a tough chin, fighters like that have to have 1. steve forbes is my pick. hes all class and id say its between him and K9. As much as i dont really like him for some reason, he is a good fighter and could go all the way

Steve Forbes, very impressive.

Yep you dont become a world champ for nothing. Hes also fighting above hsi weight division to, makes it even more impressive

Forbes last night was a cut above the rest and showed why he was champ, for much of the early part of the fight, freddy looked like he was winning, then he would make 1 small mistake, and Forbes would hit him 10 times, extremely quick hands, and made the punches count aswell.

Still think Walter has the talent to win it, not sure if he has the mental strength though.
even though Walter does seem arrogant and has something about him that people would hate, i actually quite like him, so i will back him.

How far behind the States are these episodes?

catcozmo

Not sure, but i dont want to go to the site in case it is up to date with the american one, and they give me spoilers.

Had the same concern, but from my stealthy research conducted with only one eye open, seems that the episodes are pretty much up to date. Foxtel will be broadcasting the last episode live from the States.

Does anyone know how it is rating in the states?
If it is rating ok, will there be a 3rd season?

well thats good to see where getting it fairly new.

I think this season has a lost a bit since Sly isnt actually on it(he is producing)
and also i dont think we see enough of the guys training or doing the challenges like last season.
it makes it hard to gauge who is good or not, unless we actually see them fight.

Wright was beaten by K9 in a dog fight, i felt he should have boxed k9, rather then tried to braw him and it seems to have cost him, Forbes now definatly looking the favourite

Forbes will be WAY too polished for k9 id say.

Feel that the editing of the fights is a mixed blessing. They obviously don't show all of the fight, I mean do we even know if they have two or three minute rounds? I'm assuming three. My point is they obviously edit out some of the slower parts of the rounds.
The flipside though is that with the multiple cameras used they are able to show the bigger blows landing, albiet sometimes in slo mo.
Pretty annoyed that Wright lost to K9. Double Header next week, put all your money on the guy who fights Balletta.
Forbes looks an easy winner.

Agreed that balleta will get beaten, dont rate him.
and forbes does look the real deal, but K9 cant be underestimated.

and the editing is pretty good i feel, but its surpirsing how they can get the crap hit out of them but never go down, its almost as if they dont hit with full power

Onto the final!

Steve Forbes vs Grady Brewer.

Live(ish) tomorrow on Fox8, 12p est, 2hr show.

And Brewer wins on a split decision. Not the most exciting fight, that honour would go to the 3rd vs 4th place matchup of 'K9' Bundrage vs Bravo, K9 the winner via rsf 7th round.
A good finale, nice to see the underdog get up.
