Collingwood's next Brownlow Medalist

Dont ask why, but that popped up in my head without explanation!

Doesnt seem too strange to me though :thumbsu: Next year should be bigger then this and so on. He has been building up to this for a few years now and is only becoming more and more dangerous. Hopefully he can improve his kicking just a little more and become one of the most dangerous attacking midfielders Collingwood has got.

Ben Johnson is a awesome player, i love to him win the brownlow but i don't think he will with Judd and all the other big name midfielders going around, Thomas for Brownlow imo:)

He is the core of our midfield in the next 5 or so years. He has been in great form this year and i think he will come close to winning the Copelan.
Keep it up Johnno!:thumbsu:

he is one of my very favorite players because he takes on players , breaks lines and generally makes good decisions. His kicking can be very good but he is also prone to the odd bad clanger. Possibly our most important mid because of the metres he gains.

As for the brownlow I seriously doubt it . As a previous poster said with the likes of judd, kerr, dal santo etc in the comp who are all as smooth as silk I can't seee him ever winning one. I also agree Thomas could be our best bet for a brownlow in a few years because he is very flashy and is sure to catch the umps eyes. This is still a big IF as anything can happen and he is just a kid.

Fair arguments with the likes of Judd, Dal Santo ect around BUT just play your best and be BOG in YOUR game as many weeks as possible and anything is possible, I'd love to see him with a Brownlow Medal. Something tells me it isnt impossible.

Benny J is a star, no doubt about it. I dont think he has the flair to win a brownlow medal. you dont see many people with a look on their faces like, "howd he do that?"..This is what Judd, Goodes and Cousins can do.

Johnson will always use his stengths ie kick long (too advantage) and break the lines. He has built his stamina to its peak. His decision making is always first-rate.

I went to high school with Ben and graduated with him, he was a top bloke and still is! Doesnt say much around the club, he is a lot like Gavin Brown, he lets his actions on the field do the talkin!!!

Great workman like player!!!
