Just wanting to know if anyone on here is an AFL member and was at the footy on Friday night at the Bombers game, i was witness to serious police misconduct and was hoping other big footy posters might have seen what happened?

I was in the Ponsford stand and heard from the southern stand that someone had a horn and could see the police move in then I heard that stand booing. Is that what you're talking about?

I was working security in the Ponsford stand and as I was signing off at 10-11 a large fella came to our office and requested he speak to a security manager because he was abused by police. Im guessing thats what you're talking about.

Yeah, for a second then I thought it was cricket season. They got a good blow though, took ages for the Pies to get their first major, so longer they had it in possession :D

I was sitting in Q15, and I didn't notice anything, but our next door neighbours were around behind the goals in the Southern Stand, and they said something about a group of guys in front of them that were absolutely TRASHED, and started a fight with each other, and apparently police came to step in...

Could have been that incident?

I was sitting directly behind that guy with the horns... 2 seats behind him. He pulled them out when Collingwood kicked their first goal, blew them a little then put them away... then when security came over to take them off him he just sat there blowing them non stop till security finally made there way through the seats to get them off him. I was sure they were gonna kick him out, and was spewin' when they didn't.

There was also a fight between two supporters (I don't know who they supported) and it involved a lot of spitting. A pretty ugly scene really, could that have anything to do with it?
It was outside the ponsford end after the game.

Thanks everyone for all your input, the incident with Police happened underneath the souther stand in front of the Bunton bar (The one with the big glass windows), undeneath section M23-24.

It did originate from an incident out in the seats on the bottom level of M23.

if anyone has any input i would be glad to hear from you, obviusly for legal reasons i cant disclose to much of what did exactly happen but if you want to know or think you can help then personal message me and i will fill you in.

Thanks again,
